  • @i3dtutorials what max distance should i use for exterior scenes ??? i keep samples to 256 but still iam getting dust effect on walls..... please help.

  • simple,,

    F10- render elements-mr shader element, in shader button click none, apply A/R occlusion..drag to an slot in material editor .. and render..

    then composite in photoshop or after effects...

  • To use this in a texture you use Render to Texture to bake it onto your diffuse map. Just like when you bake a normal map though, you cant have any overlap in your UVW's.

  • Awesome! You certainly deserve more views!!!! I'm gonna post this video to some places so you get more views. One question tho. With ambient occlusion all I have is a gray material with good shadowing. My question is, how can I use any other material but with the realism of ambient occlusion. Materials like SSS skin and other. If it was a picture render I could easily render both with normal materials and AO materials and combine them in photoshop, but in a video I can't really do that... hellp!
