@nomad677 Facts? I didn't finish the song when I wrote my comment. And on the studio-recordings, he's always said "leaves". It isn't a "fact" that he says "loved me" in one live-version.

You really notice in the live videos that he seems to go out of his way to sing like Bruce...I hate to say this because I really really love this band...he can't sing that good at all

@lukerr87 "Mary this station..." - There are many Marys in Springsteen's work. Could be Mary from O Mary Don't You Weep due to the Sad Songs being played...

@lukerr87 in Blue Jeans and White T-Shirts, he sings "Call every girl we ever met Maria."  Maria (or Mary) is every woman, yet at the same time, no woman.
