Every media outlet, every tech magazine, every popular review sites, talk about the iphone non stop. Any change with the iphone makes national news and you cant stand it. Of course they do. They have NO real choice. You're talking about a system that treats you less as a consumer, than as a client. You've already bought into a system you HAVE to maintain because if you, for ANY reason are unsatisfied with your product you have no real way to buy out of it. Your software, your systems and purchases are locked in to a single manufacturer. Can you imagine if any other media, technology or product had such a system? How can anyone legitimately buy out?

You think you are the only one who can buy an android? You think you need a special ticket to get one? I could have had one of those ugly, cheap os phones, but I didnt want a watered down shitty marketplace, or an ugly phone. With a jailbroken Iphone with frash there is nothing your phone can do that mine cant.

No you had a choice prior to purchasing you iPhone. Listen, not everyone jailbreaks their phone and for the grand majority of customers who buy an iPhone, iPod and the instant they support the iTunes environment they are locked into an Apple product. This has been the case for many years since iTunes invented itself. You're pretty much incapable of actually opening up to a free market unless you choose to abandon your prior system, and that's a known fact. It breeds a closed system.

The fact you even need to breach the security of your phone just to get a fair treatment from your product speaks volumes of your item. I won't even get into Apple having the audacity to disable 3gs systems that DID breach the security when they don't even own the product once purchased. People NOW have a choice, in an environment where they once did not. Do NOT be surprised when consumers now make the choice to abandon a closed format with the power of options. It's inevitable.

Enjoy your watered down marketplace. Less apps, all the best developers go to apple first. You only get the good apps after we already have had em. Enjoy your shitty resolution display, garbage interface and ugly phones.

You'll have to forgive me for supporting a market that has systems with higher specs, clearer resolutions and better cameras. With an interface that is growing and adapting to the needs of a wider consumer base. That actually allows a customer to use whatever system he needs and if he or she does not like it, can still function on any other phone from a grand number of manufacturers. From a company that doesn't insult its consumer. A company whose product you're using right now.
