I'm glad to see no mention of Pat's or Geno's. I don't mind being treated like an asshole if you make a good sandwich, but those two establishments certainly do not.

Wow, I use to live down the street from Chink's. They are awesome too. But I agree that NE Philly has much better steak shops. Love Steve's, Pat's, Geno's, Tony Lukes, Jim's, plus a ton more. As for gourmet cheesesteaks The Abbey makes one with chunks of ribeye, gruyere, carmelized onions, great roll, and pomme frits, omg! There's a place not far from Chink's near the Tacony Palmyra bridge and 95, in front of Superior (ripoff) Moving. I forget the name of the place. Anybody know?

You got that right. John's is my number two. The Grey Lodge Pub, Chink's, and Maggio's in Southampton round out my top five.
