  • AHAHA, They are such goof balls! Long Live MUDHONEY!

  • aaaahh, i love this. :)

  • solid

  • man this is so great

  • Who was the bird wearing the "I'm a dolphin" t-shirt???

  • @HouseOfProPain a dolphin

  • if your wondering where they got such good guitar effects, well, guitarists used to play a lot under water

  • This is a big "fuck you" to the record labels' policy of having their bands do "videoclips"

  • when my band duz a music video it has to be this stupid hahahaha

  • stop wishing you were a teen in 80;s or you'll be 40 today.lol.

  • This is the best music video ever.

  • You Didnt Miss Much! WE Didnt have Computer or Cell-Fones Then! WAAAYYYY Different World! We Relied on Radio and MTV....if Ya Could Get It! Huge Huggz!

  • Grunge is a lame ass lable.. its all rock n roll baby

  • @system922 Actually, no. This is not rock n' roll, you shouldn't mess rock music with rock n' roll. Maybe it is ''lame ass lable'' but if people just started calling it ''rock'' and everything else would be called ''rock'' then rock would be pretty damn large are of sounds. So we call it Grunge to be precise of the music.

  • @andybirger "to be precise of the music"?? there are bands that sound NOTHING alike all lumped into the "grunge" lable so dont tell me its based on a sound. and theres not a single band or artist tagged with that lable that ever liked it. It was a media appointed lable. sorry, lame..

  • @system922

    Guy 1: I like Rock

Guy 2: Do you like Van Halen?

Guy 1: No, I don't like that kind of rock

Guy 2: Well, what kind of rock you like?

    Guy 1: I like rock

You got my point? Everything can't be ''rock'' because of missunderstandings like that.

  • @andybirger NO, actually I dont got your point. If you are that easily confused when having a discussion about music then god help you. Van Halen? Honestly??

  • @system922 You are stupid if you didn't get my point. If I say ''I like Rock'' you can't know which bands I like and which ones I might not like. If I said I like Southern, you might realise I like Skynyrd, ZZ Top, Hatchet and that kinds of stuff. And what's wrong with Van Halen?

  • @andybirger wow.... never mind dude. enjoy your lables. wouldnt want you to get confused ;)

  • @system922 Thank you.

  • @system922 LOL, Alice in Chains, Nirvana, Stone Temple Pilots, Soundgarden, Mudhoney, etc. all have a similar enough sound. Most are from the Seattle area within the same decade. And I know for a fact that Mudhoney is fine being labeled as Grunge. It's Mark Arm (Vocalist of Mudhoney) that used the word "grunge" to describe his music before it became a genre. It's a fucking perfect genre label and when I hear these bands I think, GRUNGE

  • @ThisMemory Congratulations. and Mark Arm is the exception not the rule. Others hated it.

  • @system922 No shit. You may not like the label but it describes the music enough to know what to expect when you hear it. You can label Alice in Chains alternative metal but saying grunge you know that that band's from the '90s and possibly will have some heavy distored guitars. It's just describing a certain time period and scene of music. You can call it lame but it still describes the music

  • Damn. I was born too late.

So many great bands. Nirvana, Mudhoney, Meat Puppets, The Melvins, Soundgarden...

  • I feel like this is what Kurts hair would look like if he actually bothered to wash it...

  • I'm born in 1988 but i learn 'Grunge' and i found a fuc_ing awesome =) .

  • I'm a dolphin. <3

  • This song sounds similar to the song "Sweetness" by Air Waves.

I wonder if Air Waves was influenced by this band. :P

  • I was about 19 when I figured out that this was one of the coolest songs ever. 20 years later I'm still all about it! I only got to see Mudhoney live once way way back in the day. Thanks guys! I'm so glad you're still around.

  • Roller Skates Girl is beautiful.

... On an entirely different topic; Mark Arm is a silly goose! hehehe ~L~

The first time I heard this song I was smoking opium with my friend Muffin and I remember how enjoyable listening to it was... and still is all these years later! Some songs aren't restricted by time's passage and for me this is a great example. Thanks, Mudhoney and BVMGrungeTV !

oh and @mightyolav I was too and I do too.

  • the drummer looks so stoned

  • im a dolphin!

  • The only definition on "grunge", that comes to my mind is: not caring about what "grunge" means...

  • OMG Motorhead t-shirt!!

  • This video's got such a 60's vibe, it's awesome.

  • ah've made mistakes that i'm sure I'll make again...

  • I saw these guys at the Trocadero in Philly twice. In 1992 and 1994. One of the best live bands I've ever seen.

  • I was -6 in 1991. Ahhhhh memories

  • such a chilled out song like going to the beach or some shit like that.

  • are they still making albums?

  • @nadster76 yes, they still makes albums mudhoney along with pearl jam are the only groups of grunge who don't have any dead members

  • Love the hats ;)

  • I was 21 in 91, living in San Francisco, DJing at KFJC. The BEST memories of the best shows. There are great bands out there today too. Support live music!

  • 10 people aren't good enough

  • Awesome music

  • this is the cutest video ive ever seen X)))

  • steve turner is awesome

  • drugs !!!!! xD

  • I think they got given a lot of money to make this video... good to see they spent it well XD x

  • in the 00's ppl missed the 80s, now ppl miss the 90s and so it keeps going. truth is you shouldnt care what year it is and what everyone else is doing, just act how you please.

  • Dude.... this reminds me so much of "In bloom" all suites from Nirvana.

  • muito foda

  • I love the music of the 50's, 60's,the under ground music of the 70's(stooges,VU,Punk in General),80's(punk and some of the New Wave I'm a sucker for stuff like Modern English, Cure, Big Country etc.), and I loved music of the early to mid 90's. The New Metal for the most part sucked cock(Deadsy's 1st album was amazing and still is)the music today sucks in my opinion however I do love Peter Doherty's stuff. Most of it is shallow Maudlin crap. No real depth to their emotions. Fake as hell music.

  • One more time is good enough for meeeeee

  • This video is the nineties in 3 minutes

  • @mssfrank

    I couldnt agree more

  • she's a dolphin

  • heard this song in a skate vid, years ago. can't remember which one. great song though.,

  • Grunge...screeming trees...Grunge...soundgarden...Grunge...tad, melvins, arrrrghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • Grunge...Nirvana...Grunge...Mudhoney...Grunge...Pearljam....Grunge...Alice In Chains...Grunge...

  • great memories of being 18...mudhoney very underated and deserve a little more credit then what they got..

  • The green shirt says victoria bitter, one of the biggest selling beers in Australia

  • Mark arm and kurt cobain are deflenty twins :)

  • @calvin799 No way, mark's nose is to big.

  • @calvin799 ooo yeaaa...

  • i guess i just don't understand all this hate for our generation when we got awesome bands like Modest Mouse, Interpol, Flaming Lips, Queens of the Stone Age, and White Stripes!

  • @Silverfucked Because, you have dicks like me who hate all of those bands except queens of the stone age.

    TETEHEHEHAHA

  • @cancereverywhereigo

    damn lol

  • matt lukin at 2:02 hahaha excellent!

  • Good Times

  • im glad i live in the music toay

  • @kwooster58 poor soul...

  • @kwooster58

of auto tunes, justin bieber and disney shit?

    thanks but no thanks.

  • @dothack14 There is always been shit music in the world, you just choose not to listen to it. Your glorifying the early 90's but they had shit too, look at Vanilla Ice and MC Hammer. The fact is that there will always be some shit music in the world and some people will ALWAYS claim that music was better ten years ago. Anyway I don't see why you’re complaining about Justin Bieber, if people like him that fine, that’s their OPINION, I just don’t see the appeal of it.

  • @ranmore30

    Hence my appearance and comments.

I too, am entitled to my own opinion, deal with it.

  • @ranmore30 couldnt agree more. people always bitchin about how bad music is and how this generations music sucks but in reality when bands like this came out their fathers and grandfathers was like "what the hell is this shit?" and when their children listen to a new group in 20 years. their kids are gonna like it and they will hat it. its a never ending cycle that music will always go through.

  • @yoshu2 yeah, I do agree but the difference between nows music and the music from the 50s-the late 90s was it was all made using real instruments. Now its all lip synicing with electronic music. There are a lot of great underground bands, but most of these so called rock bands, really do suck.

  • @skatepunkzero i agree with that. im no fan of a lot of music cause i prefer old stuff, just cause the fact a lot of stuff from 50's-60's wasnt as digital today. but you gotta also understand its hard to be innovative in times like these because...well lets face it, a lot of its been done in the past. and people like simple stuff. if it wasnt simple ,people wouldnt buy it because its "not poppishly generic enough"

  • @yoshu2 Yeah, thats the sad truth.

The 50s and 60s had the best music, Carl Perkins, Johnny Cash, CCR, Hendrix, Bob Dylan, The Who, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Winter and more

  • i love how in this video the cords are obviously not hooked up to anything, haha

  • They are so good.

  • what does the green shirt say?

  • @IronSaucer L.D.S Road Show.

  • Great song from a great album.

  • @666slink every good boy deserves fudge is one of the best grunge albums ever made..

  • @rckhnt I agree. It and Superfuzz Big Muff are definitely my favorite Mudhoney albums.

  • Does anybody know the name of the girl with the "I'm a dolphin" t-shirt?

  • I just came to see the chick on skates which I saw a clip of in another video. I love her.

  • im 17. i was born in 1993. i wish i was born in like the late 70's or early 80's. would be cool to expirience the excitment of the start of grunge and seeing nirvana live and alice in chains with layne staley. but its good to know that music will never die. :)

    LONG LIVE GRUNGE! <3

  • @himynameisjessica09 i hope the most teenagers would think more like you do man.... you are a good soul = )

  • such a great song... dolphin's lookin pretty good too

  • I was 15 in 1991... I wish I could go back and do it all again.

  • @mightyolav I'm jealous man, it's gotta be better than being 15 in 2010

  • @mightyolav you must be glad you were in that time, I won't have a time like that ever..

  • @mightyolav I was 18 bro. - that year i got recruited to the army...memories

  • @mightyolav I wish I were 15 in 1991. I'd give anything, crazy though it may sound.

  • @MyScarletFall no, you should wish that you were 15-16 in 1985. Cause then, you'd be 21 in 1991 and you could get drunk and listen to awesome punk music.

  • @whitestripeskid or you should live in europe where you re able to drink at the age of 16 xP

  • I was twenty so i gues that's close enough. and yeah, you missed out.

  • @mightyolav did you happen to live in seattle aswell lol?

  • @mightyolav i hear ya man

  • @mightyolav i was 1.

  • @mightyolav hey grunge is still alive, dont have to be young to go totally crazy.

  • I still can't believe I'm going to these tomorrow...Mudhoney forever!!

  • damn grunge is ganna fail me. ive been getting hyped up on caffeine for the last 2 nights so i could stay up late and study, and all ive done is listen and play music

  • i loved this song... use to be put a smile on me when i was withdrawn from H... and when i was high... well i was a walking god : )

  • hahaha i love this

  • Long Time Since I Jamed Some Mudhoney

  • 1.03 lmao ! :O

  • i liiiiiiiiiiiiiike.

  • Yeah, as people have been saying, this band always comes off so playful and fun. :D. And their singer, a real beauty.

  • I'm just starting to get into grunge.. and the only definition that comes to my mind is that grunge is having fun while being serious.. or something like that, nevermind. :D Love this video

  • @ZSKblog I was there when it was happening....and I think that you've hit the nail on the head.

  • @ZSKblog haha nevermind that was like the best sellin grunge album ever

  • @ZSKblog Dave Grohl once said "I think Grunge is just a bunch of friends drinking a lot of Henry's and trying to play music when you really can't." and i think it's quite accurate lol

  • @ZSKblog "... and the only definition that comes to my mind is grunge is ... Nevermind"

  • @ZSKblog What grunge means to me is what Punk meant to Kurt Cobain. Grunge is freedom. Grungers don't care about how they look, they just like to sit back, while still getting their point across.

  • this song makes me wanna get high and run around

  • @pot4tots I'm high. I don't want to run around.

  • @erinismybabe im high and want to run around

  • @pot4tots im not high but i still wanna run around

  • @pot4tots omg meee toooooo

  • @avitalthealien Yay for weed XD

  • This really shows just how versatile mudhoney was.

  • VB tank top nice.

  • I don't like Nickelback or Breaking Benjamin, their music is blah, and they are so angry looking! Look at these guys. They seem to be in the high, without actually being high. 8) HONEY GIVE ME SOME MUD.

  • Thanks for posting this....looking forward to seeing them in September....real refreshing!!!

  • And people spend their time listening to Daughtry, Nickelback, Breaking Benjamin, when great bands like Mudhoney exist... sigh :\

  • what kind of guitar is the guitarist playing?

  • @mccoysalad

    What guitar player?

  • Comment removed

  • @jujkuj123 the lead guitarist not the singer

  • nevermind. the guitar is a hofner galaxie.

  • @mccoysalad

    I don't know about him.

  • Comment removed

  • I will give a kidney if someone would give me some Cherubs - Heroin Man.

  • I've made mistakes that.... I'm sure i'll make again..

  • PURE GRUNGE

    NO POSING AT ALL

  • what a bunch of idiots. this video is class

  • they we're never really part of the grunge explosion, even though they straight started it. if only they made a comeback around 95 95? wow imagine we would ACTUALLY have good music, we would love funk, post-punk, grunge & blues & good stuff forever....

  • They should redo this video one more time with mark arm in thigh socks & roller skates.

  • mark arm and steve turner are the grunge

  • Kurt looks like the one guy.

  • @Mariano8879 Pretty much, he was inspired by him I'm pretty sure. :)

  • In 90's there was a music...now?"I miss ya i need ya I really really love ya".

  • @MrCobain94 So fucking true

  • @Avocalypse Thank you.

  • this is a great fucking song.

  • JPhalfmanhalfamazing Tem brasileiros tb que gostam de Mudhoney.. ehhehhehhehe

  • generation discussions suck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • hey hey hey. OUR GENERATION SUCKS.

  • @7kole4 Your generation IS great.

  • @7kole4 hey, then do something! start your own band :D

  • @7kole4

Every generation sucks in its very own, very sucky way.

  • @7kole4 Unfortunatly I agree with you

I'm so fucking sad with our actual scene music :(

    I hate pop

When I was 14 people made fun of me because they all said I just like old music

but know they are listening to grunge because it's cool for them, They don't enjoy, they just listen with the ears and not with the heart!
