  • On the contradiction that Moses went to 'rule as king in Cush'...I want to point out the following. The Kingdom of Kush reached its first peak between 1700 and 1500 BC. In 1600 BC they allied with the Hyksos and conquered Egypt beginning the 2nd Intermediate Period. The Egyptians took back Egypt and much of Nubia 50 years later, establishing great temples at Gebel Barkal and Abu Simbel.

  • @GodHasNOMother Could it be possible that the area Moses went to could be considered by some as Egypt and by others as Cush, depending on their view of who actually ruled that area?

  • @GodHasNOMother It would seem that when Cush conquered Egypt many would refer to Egypt as an extension of Cush rather than Egypt at the time... Depending on one's geographical location and knowledge of history (remember news didn't travel that fast in those days), a writer could easily refer to the LIBERATED Egypt still as part of Cush...

  • @GodHasNOMother I think we all should (with the tools and knowledge we have today), re-examine these books. I am not for one moment saying that any of the Apocrypha Books are 'inspired by Yahowah', but I am saying that we have the ability today to dig deeper and search more thoroughly for truths we may have missed in past ages.

  • Quote : Jasher 13:5 says that Abram went to the land of Canaan at the age of 50 then back to Haran and back to Canaan at age 75, Genesis 12:4 states that Abram was 75 when he departed Haran. COULD IT BE...that the book of Genesis only talks about his second trip, since the first trip was not significant? If the Second trip to Canaan from Haran was at 75, and Genesis only mentions the second trip...it doesn't make for a contradiction, only for more detail from the book of Yashar.

  • All I can say is don't throw the baby out with the bath water. It seems the jury is still out on this one... It seems to be a matter of where you start counting...and since the book of Yashar talks about their time IN HARD LABOR...it obviously EXCLUDES the time they were living in Goshen in peace... Their HARD LABOR only started after a Pharaoh came to power that DIDN'T KNOW THEM...

  • @GodHasNOMother And that was roughly in the middle of their stay in Egypt which would place it around 220 years residence before the new Pharaoh took up the throne.

  • It depends on when you start your timeline. Some say 430 years, figuring from the time that Jacob and his family came down to join Joseph in Egypt. But when the Israelites arrived in Egypt they were guests of the Pharaoh for whom Joseph served as grand vizier. Joseph arranged for his family to live in the Goshen area (that part of northern Egypt on the eastern side of the Nile Delta) where they were pretty much left alone by the Egyptians and continued to lead a peaceful life.

  • @GodHasNOMother Others say 210 years, figuring from the time that "there arose in Egypt a Pharaoh who did not know Joseph. Even here, there's a clear lack of clarity, for while many believe that the oppressive Pharaoh was Ramses II there is (as yet) no conclusive archaeological evidence to support this.

  • @GodHasNOMother Exodus 12:40-41 says the Hebrews spent 430 years in Egypt, although not all of this time is said to have been as slaves. However, the genealogy of Moses does not allow such a long time, since he had to be born sometime between 15 years and 270 years after the arrival in Egypt, lived 120 years and yet led the Israelites on the Exodus for some forty years.

  • @GodHasNOMother Perhaps in recognition of this problem, a Jewish midrash of the common era attempted to rationalize by stating that Moses protested to God that he could not lead the Hebrews, because they had only been in Egypt for 210 years and had not yet faced the 400 years of oppression that God had foretold to Abraham. God responded that the time of oppression had to be dated from the birth of Isaac, and so 400 years had indeed gone by.

  • Shalom from Israel, your second try on pronouncing the word Yashar was closer to the right pronunciation. Yah as in the German yes....and shar as in the word sharp... The exclamation should be on shar.... :D

  • Not to discredit this claim, but keep in mind, the Israelites were not in forced labor the entire time of Egypt. It quite possibly was just half of their time spent there. Thanks for considering :)

  • Friend you need to be a bit more secularly with what you are teaching, as some of it is false doctrine. Could Shem have been Melchizedek? of course he was. Also your 430 years is all wrong also, read Gal 3:16-17 and you see there were 430 years from Abraham to Moses, 16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

  • 17 And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.

You see it is the Law that came 430 years after Abraham, also remember Abraham went down to Egypt and that is what started the counting. Get yourself a good calendar of the Patriarchs and it is easy to see how many years the Israelite's were in Egypt.

  • The O.T. is not a complete step by step instruction book of detailed events but rather it has given you all you need to believe. If you want that then you heed to read the books Jesus and the Apostles read and this is one of them.

After reading this and not correcting your false comments then the judgment of God is on you but if your heart is right with the Lord you will refrain from feather false teaching. Remove my post or not the judgment stands and you are exposed as a anti-Christ.

  • Not sure this would "fly" with God:

30 And Joseph reached his mother's grave, and Joseph hastened and ran to his mother's grave, and fell upon the grave and wept.

31 And Joseph cried aloud upon his mother's grave, and he said, O my mother, my mother, O thou who didst give me birth, awake now, and rise and see thy son, how he has been sold for a slave, and no one to pity him.

  • 32 O rise and see thy son, weep with me on account of my troubles, and see the heart of my brethren.

33 Arouse my mother, arouse, awake from thy sleep for me, and direct thy battles against my brethren. O how have they stripped me of my coat, and sold me already twice for a slave, and separated me from my father, and there is no one to pity me.

  • 34 Arouse and lay thy cause against them before God, and see whom God will justify in the judgment, and whom he will condemn.

35 Rise, O my mother, rise, awake from thy sleep and see my father how his soul is with me this day, and comfort him and ease his heart.

36 And Joseph continued to speak these words, and Joseph cried aloud and wept bitterly upon his mother's grave; and he ceased speaking, and from bitterness of heart he became still as a stone upon the grave.

  • 37 And Joseph heard a voice speaking to him from beneath the ground, which answered him with bitterness of heart, and with a voice of weeping and praying in these words:

38 My son, my son Joseph, I have heard the voice of thy weeping and the voice of thy lamentation; I have seen thy tears; I know thy troubles, my son, and it grieves me for thy sake, and abundant grief is added to my grief.

  • 39 Now therefore my son, Joseph my son, hope to the Lord, and wait for him and do not fear, for the Lord is with thee, he will deliver thee from all trouble.

40 Rise my son, go down unto Egypt with thy masters, and do not fear, for the Lord is with thee, my son. And she continued to speak like unto these words unto Joseph, and she was still.

  • I'm doing my homework of Jasher - or atleast the one that is circulating today. There is a condoning of necromancy in it, which is found in chapter 42. Though, the Book of Jasher is referenced in the Bible, I'm guessing it isn't the same one that people are bumping into nowadays. Looks like a spiritual trap...pray on this, guys..

  • In reference to the contradiction of days the ways days were counted by when the sun rose an went down it was considered a day an when the moon rose an went down it was a day. Pretty much every what's one day in modern time was 2 days in biblical time so thats why u it almost double from 210 days to 430 days.

  • Read itt more closely it says ....the first 200 something years they weren't slaves...they lived as a free men and 210 they lived as slaves..they lived 430 yrs over all. it is nither a contradiction nor a mistake.

  • When it comes to people, it will be riddled with mistakes. Perhaps rumours, bad memory, inaccuracy from witness accounts etc. I think this book was written in all honesty, but the author perhaps didn't have the Holy Spirit, therefore it is what it is.

  • Could be copying errors...many errors/contradictions are contained within the bible itself. None of those errors speak the heart of any doctrinal disputes so those do not merit ruling out Jasher as Holy Scripture. If so, you wouldn't consider the bible as it's currently constructed scripture.

  • Perhaps the book of Jasher was altered somehow (error in copying etc.) in the 17th century printing. Perhaps it once existed (or may still exist) a copy in it's original language (aramaic, hebrew)

  • @ReggieBailey31 Gen ch 6 speaks of angels, yes.

  • @preachinshawn so if they both are about men explain to me why there is a distinction made where it says "DAUGHTERS OF MEN" in Gen 6:4, but prior to that IN THE SAME VERSE IT SAYS "SONS OF GOD" that is two different distinctions, angels do fit into the context, the reason why the earth became so sinful and wicked is because they fallen angels were perverting everything on earth and the ways of man, i dont have an alternative my beliefs are straight from the bible, u need to study GENESIS

    Bless

  • cont.

My alternative is that God saw that men were becoming greedy with accumulating multiple wives, perhaps leading to favoritism, and this along with the rest of mankind's wickedness is what led him to causing the flood.

The term 'son's of God' is not restricted only to angels. Example: 1 John 3:2

    For the 3rd time:

What resource says the meaning of Nephilim is "fallen or to fall" ?

  • @preachinshawn in 1 OHN 3:2 it is not the same words in the original meaning because one is hebrew in genesis and the other is greek in John, you need to do research brother, you should have known that since you say you have a concordance, you need to put that concordance to use, i also gave you the original number for the english word in hebrew, your alternative is your own philosphy the bible says to stay away from that col 2:8, the concordance is the resource of nephilim, DO YOUR RESEARCH

  • @preachinshawn it says noah 's generations were pure. this translates his dna was not tainted (by nephilim) og king of bashan in bible, goliath, gibborhim, anak, all these were the mighty men of old (gen6 ) sons of fallen angels an d human progeny. zeus, thor, etc. to be worshipped as gods. their angel spirit, are the evil spirits of today, as their bodies were wiped out in the flood.spirits remain to do/communicae with lucifer and occultists

  • @preachinshawn what strongs do you have, all strongs i have seen give a defination of the word, that is the point of a strongs concordance to give you the original word in the original language and the defination of the word, since you dont believe the nephilim are the fallen, who are the giants and sons of god talked about in genesis 6:1-4 the word giants is nephiyl H5303, the root of nephiyl is naphal which is to be casted down or to fall, the bible tlks about beings tht fell we both know this

  • @preachinshawn gen 6 tlks about the sons of god, go to job 1:6 "Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, n Satan came also among them" now wen u read genesis 6:2 "That the sons of God saw the daughters of men and that they were fair, n they took them wives of all they chose. Gen 6:4 There were giants (nephilim) in the earth in those days; and also that wen the SONS OF GOD came in unto the daughters of men,

2 distinct ppl son of god n daughters of men

  • psiphyre

Of coarse I realize the bible has been retooled, and that's why we should seek out the earliest evidence to discover what God inspired.

Maccabees is a part of the Apocrypha, and I think it speaks volumes that Judaism as far as I know has never acknowledged any of the apocryphal books as being God's word.

  • @preachinshawn Do you think that every word in the Bible is inspired? Al though I truly believe that jasher is the Jasher of the Bible it may not be inspired in the same way as the Bible. What do you thing of the geneoly of Luke? accurate or not?

  • @Onetimehard Reason I ask is because in a lot of cases sometime we think there are condradiction but often a lot of it can be explained by some twist to a storyline or something. I truly don't believe the Bible has even one error but like I said about Luke....even the smartest Biblical scholers haven't been able to explain the problem. can you dismiss a whole books information based on one mistake? possibly, but the Book of Jubilee has a lot of historical accurate info yet lots of errors

  • Onetimehard

What is this "problem" in the book of Luke?

  • @preachinshawn 3 basic geneologies..... 1 in Genesis, 1 in chronicles, 1 in Luke. Genesis claims arphachsad begot selah at age 35. and chronicles confirms, however in Luke the auther ads Cainen between arphachsad and Selah. Who is Cainen, why is he added in the middle of chronilogical geneology without any previous mention. Believe me you`ll get some funny vague and unsubstantiated answeres, but not a solid reasonable answere. I don`t know why this is but a know there is no mistakes in the Bible

  • @Onetimehard My point is what appears to be mistakes aren`t always mistake. sometimes you have to dig deep to unravel the mystery. So in Jasher it claims 230 years hard labour , which at first seems like a contradiction, but cleary it isn`t as a lot of your audiance have commented on validating this point. Another poor attempt at discrediting this book by your friend was claiming Joseph wouldn`t call upon his Mom spirit because he is of God. pretty silly don`t you think, life and death situation

  • @Onetimehard I`ve read Jasher several times, in fact I never stop reading it, And I read the Bible front to back every 4-6 months and don`t think there are contradiction between the 2, however a few points that are a little mysterious if you will. I can`t say 100 % if the book is 100% accurate but I would bet everything that I own that thit this book is in fact the book mentioned in the Bible. Excellent book.

  • Onetimehard

I believe every word in the autograph was inspired. I am not aware of any unreconcilable things in Luke's genealogy, so I think it is accurate.

You could argue for portions of a book being inspired, but in my opinion I think that's kind of a cop out, as I would dismiss the entire book myself.

  • @twomiracles: That's an excellent point!

  • @twomiracles true ! church today hides the fact of fallen and nephilim it would explain demon spirits and so much.....aliens ufos etc. they are so blind to the end times

  • @twomiracles

i agree Jashar is probably corrupt since first known copy is 1700's and books of bible are early 1st and 2nd century

  • Those are great points but it said they were in hard labor for 230 years; it might mean that they were not slaves at first but then became enslaved or their taskmasters were not as brutal at first. It's like when suddenly they had to produce the same amount of bricks without straw; that meant their labor became much harsher then it had been previously. Or, I tend to believe that they grew in numbers so rapidly that the Egyptians tried population control more than once.

  • @ericjaynelson that's all that it is saying. Hard labor for 230 years.

  • The Bible is the only inspired book in the same way that Jesus is the only human without sin. So don`t read Jasher as an inspired book but read it as a historacal book that sheds light on the Biblical nerrative. Very good book and awesome to read any question send me a message, God bless.

  • @Onetimehard

    You are close-minded. and Deluded.

  • @smartwarlord Thank you

  • Here is where MICAHNICHOLS is making a big mistake.. The book of annals of the king is NOT inspired by God, however it is probably very accurate. The history of the Titanic is not inspired by God but the information is accurate. IS JASHER INSPIRED BY GOD.. No, but its still accurate and it is 100% the book referanced in Joshua and samuel, to refute this with circumstantail and vague evidance is foolish and it hints at jealousy and negativity on Bibliacl characters that are indeed respect by God.

  • Jasher.. explains why Lot`s wife looked back. She had 2 daugters remaining with their husbands that wouldn`come.

Jasher.. explains why Abraham had Ishmael and hagar leave

    Jasher explain Sara`s death

Jasher explaind the date of births of all 12 children of Israel.

Man I can go on and on but you get the point. The book doesn`t take anything away from the Bile, just simply puts things in perspective. It shows what kind of brave, strong faithful men God chooses to do his work on earth.

  • Jasher... Abraham and Haran, his brother, get put in a furnace, haran dies but Abraham is not effected by the fire. The book of Daniel has Meshack Shadrack and abednego not effected by the fire.

This explains why Abraham stayed with Lot Haran`s son.

Jasher... Explains the first Pharoeh Rikayon, Osiris suiccessor. during Osiris reign was the earliest mummafacation witch Rikayon was credited for in Jasher

Jasher.. the wickedness of Somom and gomorrah explained

  • Jasher.. Cain and Able and 3 daugters. This explains Cains wife.

Jasher...The ark was built in 5 years, this means they started the year lamech dies. the year Methuselah dies the flood comes,

Jasher.. The lioness brings the 2 whelps...the liones stays behind along with thousands of other animals that came with the rest of the pairs. anyone that got near the ark would be attacked by animals.. you don`t think that millions of pêople drowning won`t try to infiltrat the boat

  • @Onetimehard ...Reading Jasher now...can you tell me why Abraham was asked to kill Issac and why Ishmael had to leave? Can't wait to get to that part.. he he

  • @twomiracles Abraham was tested by God for his faith and for his fear in the lord. As far as Ishmael having to leave, your guess is as good as mine, possibly because Abraham didn't fully trust him. I assume you have know read that part; what do you think of the devil appearing to sarah?

  • @Onetimehard I think that the devil "appears" in different ways to all of us and maybe this was a lesson to help us be prepared for that. I think that every temptation is from the devil. I haven't actually read that part yet...I had to stop reading Jasher only a little in because I school started back and I have been pressed for time, but now you have me curious!

  • I`m sorry, I put my comment in the wrong spot. It was for the person posting the video.

The book of Jasher is extremely accurate with biblical geneoly, in fact it states that Abraham spent a fraction of his life with Noah. At first you wouldn`t think that possible but we learned in Genesis that Abraham was born 301 years after the floodand Noah lived 350 years after the flood. It states Esau killed Nimrod even though they are nearly ten generations apart, but we learned that to be possible too.

  • And what do you think about the other missing books of the bible

  • I have read many of them, but years ago. Some of them are tame and do not appear to contradict the accounts of Jesus' disciples, and others do contradict.

  • Actually you are misleading anyone who is watching your video, sure your opinion is to be respected, however you have not stated the verse in Jasher accurately. You left out " in hard labour", WOW, imagine I did this in the Bible when comparing verses withen, There would be contradictions all over the place, do you not agree?... Bible states the lived in Egypt for over 400 years , Jasher states the lived in hard labour for just over 200 year. egyptian didn't make them slave instantly,.. hello!

  • To exclude On this point alone is to me a poor reason. For the bible its self has these kinds of discrepancies and by that point alone you would end up excluding many of the books in the bible. Now the bible has been around for a very long time and to think that someone down the line by mistake or deliberate reasons has changed the text if a fact that exists, for I am sure the devil him self could account for it.

  • Check out the info. box for multiple contradictions.

  • I think your searching for what is wrong in the text and not what is good in them. Many times I have seen where people try to justify their way of life by finding fault in the scripture and saying to themselves and others if the good book is wrong in this maybe its wrong about how am living my life. Could that be, what you are doing ?? Just food for thought .
