  • so does the m-audio just play a sample from the esx-1, or is it hooked to a daw?

great work... i am thinking of getting a esx, or some elektron kit to go with my virus ti desktop, and my evolver desktop. i usually contyrol them from ableton, bu twant to start getting into hardware stuff more.

  • man you rock thic is fuckin' good but buy MIDI Key with 49 keys ;)

  • I really like it, but I'm also very curious to know what you can do with a groovy techno track!

  • How much do these 2 things cost together ?

And do you think its also possible to make Dubstep or Drum 'n Bass with these 2 ?

  • @TheDailyDubstep yes i have an e-sx electibe (the red sampler), and i make dubstep beats on it all the time. i use logic pro also.

  • How much do these 2 things cost together ?

  • nice, good work !!!

  • awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! just fkin awesome

  • good job man

  • You can record samples on that Electribe. You can do pitch on the electribe too but if you feel comfortable doing it on your M-Audio controller its all good.

  • awesome!!

  • absolutely fantastic dude! awesome!

  • Genial

  • HAHA i was just looking for some Glitchy stuff like Eternity from Mass Effect 2...but i did not expect to see an ESX-1 and the exact IPOD i have XD ... i got EMX-1 ... but i had the exact idea of running my ipod into things to sort of "cheat sample" and edit the sample in real time as it runs-thru my equipment...i think this is the first mix i enjoyed thats been done on ESX-1 ... ( Likes ) !!

  • @zairuku I forgot to ask, what did you use to record it?

  • Love the tune! Really chilly and deep

  • Great song but ditch the crappy ipod man.

  • Completly Awesome !!!

  • Very nice dude^^

The Korg is the ULTIMATE of Grooveboxes =)

  • does the midi keyboard plug straight into the korg or do u have to use an interface?

Also can i plug the korg straight into pc to use with ableton? Thanks

  • @FUNKYGILLY he would have to use an audio interface... its a midi keyboard, and would have no sounds otherwise.

  • really nice tune. cheers for the journey

  • Great track! This is relaxing in a way. =)

  • This is really good. Enjoyed it.

  • you sure can.

  • Comment removed

  • really glith, compliments , cool track

  • there is a sub-sonic beat in this song witch you can only feel, or hear when something is loose near the sub woofer.

  • This is really great, i have always been intimidated by the korg product your using, is it actually that hard, or easy once your used to it?.

But the video is REALLY REALLY GOOD. :D

  • nice nice nice! like it very much! i always wanted to have these kind of technics- still producing with software- would you like to tell me what kind of hardware using?

    Ittaital

  • thanks a lot )

  • I'm interested in purchasing the ESX for some minimal work as well.

I understand that you recomend it ?

    Ittaital

  • VERY NICE !!!!!!

  • wow damn congrats really deep music ur working on great work

  • well done!

    ...nice, smooth and deep tune

  • not bade!!

  • is it enough to have keyboard only to make remixes or create your own track? .

  • Great tune!

  • i'm not a big fan of esx for glitch/minimal, 'cause in this genre it happens often that sounds are introduced fading in, which thing is quite difficult with such a machine (i rather use pc's, or i'd pass signal from esx thru a multichan mixer to fade in parts easily).

but i like this track in general :-)

  • all you have to do to fade in a sound is trigger a track that has the volume turned all the way down then fade it in.

or, if not sure if the volume is down, hit shift and trigger the track. turn the volume down, then fade in.

(hitting shift arms the track but doesn't cause the sound to start)

    done.

  • love it !!!!!

  • nice man ! love chill out ! go on

  • 8:32 minutes of pure chillout - GREAT!

  • thanks! )

  • when i started to listening i didnt realize that i was gonna hear the soul of the song...

    very nice tune...

would you share some "how to"s about how to set the axiom with any soft? i just got mine & i can barely assign it to reason & fl at the same time,,,

    cheers..

  • Hello that program uses in order to load the sampler on the keys with the axiom

  • hi ) I didn't use any software for that track ) just all what you see )

  • axiom is connected to esx-1.. iguess

  • no i dont see midi cables connected, i dont think you can hook up to the esx through usb, i think he has both on a computer but using the esx as the sequencer

  • Best Song I Ever heard on YouTube. Truly Inspired me, even though I'm still in the early learning Phase. Great Job :D

Btw: Do you have Myspace or something alike?

  • Sounds good! It's not minimal on taste. ;)

  • prikoljno.. toka slishkom zatjanuta drug moi

  • thats great! when i try to do minimal it always ends beeing "maximal" - its hard to reduce ;-)

  • LOLLLL

    totally

i swear minimal is an art, people underrate how difficult it is to actually make aminimal track

it's that fine line between not minimal and boring as fooK.

also layering skills have to top notch. every sound has to count and count well

  • you are absolutely right man minimal is like most of the other elektronik music genres mostly like ambient. its not just making a loop and then reloop it all the time like hip hop beats or house/electro songs. i dont mean with it, that they suck i mean party music has to be catchy and has to have a good rythm but minimal songs are mostly spirital and have this deep base line. basically i love it!!!!

  • agreed and this is a fine example of great artistry, fun and originality. great to see people using tools in original and creative ways. props!

  • though having said that, if you use loops and presets it makes the job ten million times easier (due to not having to spend time on making the variations)

  • great stuff mate!

  • very very nice! like this!

  • spasibo *)

  • Liked the sound good job :)

  • this is not minimal. it sounds like Easy Listening. its pretty good

  • this is fuckin amazing. do you have a myspace?

also, i have an EMX.. does the ESX come with as many DRUM sounds?

  • that´s great, i´m thinking about buying an electribe...would be great if you could tell me how it works with a synthie and a pc or an i pod...cant imagine how they work together.

  • hi thanks ) it doesn't work with pc or ipod ) or just if you pluf PC or iPod(like me) through Audio In ) In my case I have used track with man voice from iPod

  • Extremely nice! This is really the best thing i've seen done on YT with an Electribe! :D

  • thank you )

  • how do you use the axiom to keyboard for the electribes? is it already mapped?

  • fabolouss!!!

  • how's your axiom working for ya? i'm in the market for a most-bang-for-your-buck controller and the axiom seems to have it all at a good price! do you like the feel of the key-bed/key-action?

  • Hi! I'm using it as controller for korg esx-1 for playing and recording solo or bass. That is a very good midi-controller dude )

  • Get it. I just got mine and I still haven't completely figured it out, but I'd recommend it for anybody.

  • dude can us end me the vocal that ats the begining?

  • sorry? )
