@MyMetalmaniac666 so both tires will pull if the soft mud grabs it. This truck has 5 servos. 2 for the diffs 2 for steering and 1 for the transmission gear change (high/low)

@LifesGoodIn2012 that looks like a futaba high end radio..... the ones used for r/c planes...... they have a fantastic range......or it could be a 10 meter transmitter.....( if you are not a ham radio can't use one of those)

I would like a breakdown of the electronics upgrade. I see you have a different remote. Is that to boost the distance or just to have the extra servo control?

@yartins1 Hes using a (likely 72MHz) Futaba 9C to control it. Far superior range than a 2.4GHz system as 2.4 has poor signal penetration of solid objects. (Also, supports headtracking on a pan+tilt rig for camera) The cam i think is an Aiptek camcorder as it will record in HD while sending Video-Out to the Video Transmitter. (looks like an 900MHz setup)

in response to the "walking behind the car" uhm, there are vids of r/c pilots out there getting fpv from the ground, wearing vid-goggs. wireless. full-motion realtime vid. euro-dudes, forget who but will try and find them so repect can be paid. or someone can go out and spend a grip to prove it right or wrong. Great video. NOTE TO ALL: Dont be fooled. The only way this is possible is to chase after car on foot. Notice he said it was sped up 2X speed. There is no equipment out there that will give you the range for video to see through camera from a stand still. The only way to do this movie is to chase car. Either was, great video!
