I don't mean to be rude, but why is it that a disproportionate number of the big names in the field have obvious obesity? Bandler, this guy, and several others I just watched - all don't look fit, healthy (and dare I say it, happy).

One would expect that if you have such a handle on your mind, you'd easily be able to change your physiology and diet/lifestyle behaviors. Perhaps NLP is not such a complete or holistic solution to trascending suffering because it originates from the mind itself?

I think the real answer logically to this is NOTHING. we are always thinking of something so therefore we are not thinking about nothing.

It is possible to not think. The mind is different than the body or the spirit. The mind attempts to enslave the spirit and keep it busy-by thinking. The constant stream of mental image pictures and thought processes are thinking. With practice, you can stop thinking, giving the spirit a rest. It is meditative to practice turning off thinking, for relaxation or to nourish shen (spirit). At first, the not-thinking exercise may only last a few seconds, and then you are thinking again.

Now if you were to have thought for a second about you last question there, you may have come to the answer yourself. The answer is your body. Simply put, where do you feel the emotion? how do you know when you are feeling a certain emotion? The answer again is your body.

First it depends on the definition of aura you use, and if this machine actually captures 'auras' or something that is naturally occurring and explainable. Like a magnetic field, or the heat coming off your body. Secondly, if you buy into the new age belief you will defend it, until you realize like I did, that it is just as retarded and just as much bullshit as Religions and their religious beliefs. Its pseudo-science and mocks the real science that brings us wonderful things Like Computers.

my comment was less about religion, more about the cult aspect. if this guy persuades affluent people professionally--what his website says he does--then it's not much of a stretch to see how he could use it in a religious cult. i didn't believe my friend at first, but another friend of his in Seattle confirmed everything he said. and stuff online i've looked up since then tended to confirm what they both said. they're both glad to be out of it now, almost embarrassed it sucked them in.

My friend didn't volunteer his story about this cult group, I only found out after knowing him more than 6 months. As I said, he was embarrassed he got sucked into it. His friend confirmed things he told me. It's not like a weblink is there to click that says Kendrick's a fraud dot com.
