At the "One Nation Rally" I am pretty sure that Harry Belafonte was the only one to mention Obama's expansion of the war. @sirellyn Who said being resourceful was bad? What will free us all inevitably is when enough of us decide to become outspoken instead of private. Banksters did not steal our money, we were duped into agreeing to give it to them every pay check.
And I do not agree that most "poor" people are mad at banksters. They resent their resourceful neighbors because they have been taught inevitability in the public fool system. Hate forms instead of good ideas for evolution.

- So I'm guessing you didn't watch the news the day of the stimulus bill. More people were calling congress to say NO don't vote for that bill than any other. It was over 90% that said no. Lines to DC were locked. Congresses did say no, but when it came back to them they caved and said yes.
So if 90% of the public said no and yet they voted anyway, how was the public duped?

@Ctupper1990 I didn't say resourcefulness was bad either. I said Paul Jay had to be careful to not help create a class divide. The point was hating people because they are wealthy is simply off base.
A lot of poorer people (not everyone) think imposing penalties on the wealthy is justified because the wealthy have been causing the suffering. My point is the "wealthy" is the poor too. Someones fortunes can change in a moment.
And forgets/ignores those who've actually been criminal.

More of the same political appeasement. The problem is the Republicans and the Democrats are both working for the same elites, they are both corporatist and they are both gorging at the same trough. The Democrats are handicapped by having to pay lip service to reforms in the capitalist system, the Republicans aren't, hence they have an easier time winning elections because the electorate who vote for reform lose interest when they're not implemented.

Don't worry, the polls you see, are all done by land-line phones, most voting-age young adults don't have land-line phones, they only use cell-phones. People who do have land-line, normally also have call display, and they don't answer the pollsters.
