Nissa only says "Nom, Nom, Nom" to meow down to the ex-con posse at home like Beau and Thomas. When she's dining out with her 'It' friends from uptown, it's a different story. Girlfriend gets her paws manicured, puts in some highlights on her fur and works hard to get her meow to sound sultry as she utters: "Das schmeckt gut" or " Delicieux" or "Delizioso".

@celinne700 LOL. You may have a point about the highlights. I think that explains her orange coloured fur in amongst the black. The sneak must get the highlighting done when I'm at work.

@celinne700 She gets those highlights done regularly as you realized. I think Merlin does the foiling (as a skills training option to keep those 'relocating' paws busy ). She chooses an exotic mix of blonde, black, silver grey and brown. But let's be honest, girlfriend looks fabulous.

@jennifergwaine She certainly does like treats. She almost desparate for them. It was like she hit a goldmine. Go for a walk to visit the neighbour and then she discovers there are treats there. And you end up with one very excited and happy kitty.

@thomdrock No, not entirely. The greedy girl wanted all the treats should could get. She was thrilled to find that she cold get treats at the neighbours. It was a first time for her. :)

@ibsunnysha Chattering while eating is a new trick for Nissa. She would be happy to accept all hugs and petting you care to give her. Nissa is the friendliest and most affectionate cat I have. She's purring her heart out right beside me now. I gave her a hug for you.

@silverpoint16 Thank you for the hug from Nissa! I do so enjoy it when my feline ( canine or equine...or pretty much any four legger) friends really "talk" to you! I think I detected a slight hint of an "r" in Nissa's noms...Quite an accomplishment. It appears to me that Nissa might take on a traveling show as she learns more tricks on her walk. Do your other kitties talk too?

@ibsunnysha Yes my other kitties talk some but seem reluctant to do it on camera. Thomas is very quiet and hardly ever meows at me. Apparently he does meow loudly outside my neighbour's door looking for treat. Beau meows to get outside (see Determined Cat Really Wants Outsde for an example). Merlin demands his morning massage and Nissa demands food and attention. They don't really talk to me when I talk to them.

@SandraB1000 Nissa has never done this before. The unexpectedness of it is what makes it really funny for me. That sense of did I hear what I really thought I heard.  I'm so glad I had the camera on. It really interesting to find out that other cats do it too:)

Oh that really is funny! I don't think I've ever heard a cat do that, and I've had cats all my life. I had one cat who LOVED Pounce treats and would put on quite a show asking for them and chasing them, but no NOM NOM NOM. Ha ha!

@meximurphy I have never heard a cat do it before today either. Glad I had my camera with me and on when Nissa did it. 3 of my cats love treats, scream for treats, try to steal them but never have they nommed while eating treats.

@FunnyAccent1 I actually didn't do the feeding. That was Thomas' best buddy and treat connection the neighbour lady. She feeds them Friskees Party Mix treats. These are the ones that Beau tries to steal all the time. I am sure Cat Ivan would love them. Regards to Cat Ivan from Nissa, Thomas, Beau and Merlin. :)

It's too funny and I've never seen a cat do that. I was very lucky I got it on video since the camera battery was low and I was expecting it to die at any minute.
