  • Hey that is pretty clean, I just had mine re-tuned and got 196hp and 153 lbs torque on a bone stock H22 Euro R. This H2B is the shit, I ran a new Camero SS last night and smoked that foo...But nice video, if you still have it post some more videos

    Its a H series motor connected to a B series trans.

  • damn you would make a lot more power with some high comp pistons. those cams aren't really doing you any good on a stock block

  • Not that easy with H22A blocks as they have FRM sleeves in them. With FRM you cant just bore and stuff new pistons in like you can with steel. The only company that makes FRM friendly pistons is Mahle.

  • Best thing about in FWD is that the power doesn't have to travel far and lose a lot of power :D. RWD a little to long. but i think AWD is the best, tell me what ya guys think...

  • It's in a 92 civic Hatchback. Total ran around $5k.

  • Sweet car, my bro had one, also a 92 but he was not into racing, I should have bought from him lol, but I already had my 3000GT the damn thing is as heavy as a tank it has great torque, but that's about it lol. I have not done much just the simple Air intake, downpipe, 2.5 single exhaust, about 200 pounds weight reduction.

  • a friend of mines made 215 whp and 150 something torque. nice numbers but he only managed to run a 13.6! he was so mad. im currently building an h2b too. look forward to dyno numbers in the next few days.

  • well, its a delicate dance on street tires. Gotta get some radials for it. I've only ran mine 4 times so far. first and second time I went to the track I had just put it together and had no miles on the clutch I have to ease off the line like I'm starting from a stop light and then I can get on it more after getting rolling. I have ran a 13.3 @107. It is an easy 12 sec. car, and the trap speed shows it. I need to get a track vid next time I go.

  • well to think of it, your whole motor is almost built the same as my friends b20. You have cams, valvetrain, ported head, manifold header etc.. the only thing that isnt built on your motor is the bottom block so its not that much of a difference besides changing pistons on the b20 block..

  • Gonna bore it 10 thousandths over and put in some Mahle gold 11.5:1 forged pistons, and trade my BC stage 2 cams for some Crower 3's. Going for 230 wheel with minimal mods.

  • only 215? I was expecting 225 or higher with that setup.. you sure they tuned it properly? my friends built b20 vtec made 215whp with a couple of mods but it wasnt a hassle like the h22 motor..

  • it's smoking a little, stock bottom end and a b20/vtec doesn't make that much torque, and is probably more modified.

  • yeah it is more modified.. 161wheel torque though.. not bad for a b series in a lil civic chasis.. but the only problem with the h swap is that you would have to modify your chasis a bit..

  • the torque you are thinking of is stock crank torque, If I was saying crank numbers by percentages it's almost 200 torque.

  • where's the alternator?  Is it relocated? If it is what kit did you use?

  • It is relocated, and I used the Evolution industries relocation kit.
