  • wtf all for panten

  • She can't even hear them clap at the end.

  • @JBMSaphira67 She can see people putting their hands together and looking happy....I think she would be able to tell they are clapping.

  • Wow, that's a lot for a hair comercial, and it's longer than any normal comercial is, but ti's so inspiring!

  • Beautifully done!

  • wow. all that for a hair commercial?

  • Amazing, .. ;;))

  • is this like based on a true story..?

  • well maybe no... but for the people who believe that their dreams can come true? super yes..:-) so believe on yourself and also put God in the center of your dreams cause through him nothing is impossible....

  • Tiger mom much?

  • ............

good video,, wasted on a shampoo commercial thou ==

  • Cute video, but the girl's position is horrible. Her bow goes all over the place.

  • @oreocat134 hahaha true

  • first time watching this i cried :( im gonna take orchestra for violin in school in 8th grade and this girl is just amazing :D ♥

  • I've cried two times in my life. Once when I was seven and was hit by a bus, and again when I saw this shampoo commercial.

  • CANON-PACHELBEL

  • Can anyone tell me the name of the melody?

  • @MyPresidentialHumor Is Canon in D Major

  • @LAMALCRIADACOM Thanks man,

  • tumbs up! its a wonderful vid that everyone should watch.. it has values in it.. and somehow it touches me when i watched it.. the girl doesn't know she received a standing ovation from the audience because she's deaf and that's very catchy because she just believe in herself that she can do it and she did! :)) how fantastic!

  • A commercial is 15-60 seconds on TV usually 30 & can be 90-120 seconds in a movie theatre, but 4 bloody minutes! That's not a commercial, that's a short film with product placement & this didn't even have that. So as a commercial it's actually terrible since if you take away the Pantene logo at the end there's no sense that something is missing. The product is not integral & quite irrelevant.

  • That person who made this comercial for Pantene should be a movie director instead..

  • It's actually a really good campaign...It's kind of like the Dove "Real Beauty" campaign. And really, for people who make fun of it or think something like this is hokey when they realize what is it; why does it matter? Two products, probably equal in performance, and one has a commercial with women flipping their hair and smiling for 30 seconds. Another has this...I think I'd rather go with this product...it's inspiring and the marketing dept. deserves the income!

  • Thai people, happy people!!!

  • MOVIE PLEASE!! ITS LIKE THE KARATE-KID ONLY VIOLIN FORM!!

  • I was about to cry...Why'd it have to be a Pantene commercial?!

  • I watched this at school at assembly. It was to show that being unique is key or something, there was an awkward silence when we figured out it was a pantene commercial.

  • very touching! T_T

  • canon is one of the best pieces of music ever composed, and it probably will be like that forever

  • commercial=nothing to do with hair whatsoever

  • nam <3

  • What an inspirational Video. Everyday can shine in there own ways :) This video gives a lot of message to everyone, who thinks they can't do anything.

  • Pachelbel Canon <3

  • A sampon

  • Minor vs Major..

  • yep pretty hair pretty girl and pretty style

thats of all i like it

  • she really does have pretty hair...I guess... O.o

ahaha and wow this "commercial" sure touches your heart doesn't it?

Thumbs up! lol :) *scratches neck awkwardly*

  • what is the name of the song she plays???????

  • @blarockstarz i agree what is the song???? I NEED TO KNOW!!!

  • @blarockstarz Canon in D mayor, i guess...

  • @rickseph canon in D mayor indeed

  • @ericsungjaya it's Canon in D minor.

  • @Kurskij

where the hell did you get the impression that this ad is for kids? Use ur fkn brain please.

  • i know its just pantene shammpoo in the end but all i know its much more than that. it gives strong positive messages

  • the commercial really teach me to never give up in something that u believe in...whether u unfortunate or vice versa the keypoint is to never give up and just able to walk ahead and be strong. dont care what others think cause mainly its just a word. In the end its all about us.....efforts that we give in...and of course the journey that we take.

  • i had no idea it was for a commerical lol I thought it was a infocomerical for a movie lol

  • If i have heard a smashed guitar sounds better...but a smahed violin is epic?

  • speechless.

  • If this doesn't bring you to tears... check your pulse. :')

  • Interesting, yet people forget one of the greatest composers of all time was deaf, Pianno player for those that do not know, and I will not say so you can look it up and see who it is, music is all about feeling the vibrations, and playing from your soul.

  • @mako7828 he wasn't born deaf though

  • Uhhh this is the best effort-commercial thing I've ever seen, but I think this is too much for just a freaking shampoo.

  • Whats the song

  • @yacahill A mixture of Pacabel Canon and something else I'm not so sure bout...

  • would be an amazing video if it wasnt pantene:P

  • The power of a brand message. Lovely.

  • she plays like that because she uses pantene eeeeveryday

  • A beautiful commercial. But the fact that its for Pantene, ruined the message it gave me. xD

  • the piano girl is the one wasting time. yelling at a DEAF girl

  • did anyone told the pianist girl that she cant hear her?

she keep insulting her the hole time

  • LoL

  • this was for shampoo? jeez, i felt like i was at the Cannes Film Festival

  • What is this song? I wanna play it on the piano

  • @TheAmeliaTurner i'm pretty sure it's Canon

  • no offense but I think this was a horrible commercial because its over dramatic

  • so good at playing on violin and very cute girl i think im falling inlove to this girl

  • Wow, no wonder her hair was so shiny from the start. o.o I forgot what Pantene was in the beginning but all I knew was her hair was gorgeous. It was shiny and looked silky smooth... I'm getting some Pantene conditioner!

  • @lockwoodisbored thank you for renewing my hate for advertisement Dx

  • That pianist is such a bitch.

  • Great now thee's something in my eye.

  • The only thing Im wondering is... WHERE DID ALL THAT WIND COME FROM?

  • @chilledfresh ...... GOD Helps her!

  • lol shampoo ad .___."

  • deaf girl can play violin, therefore buy our shampoo

  • wtf, that was a shampoo commercial?! LMFAO....kinda random, but an amazing story.

  • WHAT THE-- I thought it was a bloody trailer! -.-

Oh wells, that's one hell of a commercial. xDD And the deaf girl is really pretty.

  • So... did she use the shampoo?

  • with make music . same like a violin you cant change your life

  • I really, really love this, even though it's just a commercial. :)

  • that was a pantene commercial!

  • she have the ralent for an international star

  • they can hear from their hearts :)

  • This shows that deaf people can play music. It proves if they cant hear it, others can. I say the mean girl with the pony tail (i believe it was the violinists old best friend) got some of her friends to break the violin. I cant believe tape stuck it back together! Must be good tape :D

  • awesome!!!!

  • Saw this video during a special event in school last night.

The video has very strong emotions. Very driving.

  • gives me goosebumps EVERY TIME. I love this commercial so much :')

  • this is an awesome commercial :]

  • they should make a movie about this girl!

  • @signbrat01 You do realize the greatest pianist who ever lived was Deaf?

  • @signbrat01 I think they just did...

  • this one is perfect!!!!! so amazing

  • Nayomie Kinimoto: There are lots of version of Canon and this one is perfect... Streing version but quite impressive!!!

Thanks for Uploading... Arigato, korewa honto ni kawai nee....

  • Absolutely brilliant twist :-) Excellent direction/editing and the music is my absolute favourite! I want her shampoo too!!!!!!!!!!!

  • haha all for a shampoo comercial

  • @AmberRae664 it means that u can shine

  • @AmberRae664

Haha all for a moron to talk shit. Ads are all about emotions junior, especially if the products are for WOMEN who tend to be more sensitive and open to new feelings. This ad shows a girl with a limitation that keeps her from seeing, thus amplifying her other senses, which is something that inspires consumers to become better persons. You think Nike uses "Just do it." for no reason? It works! If you don’t know what you´re talking about, do us a favor and STFU.

  • Canon by pachelbel

  • absolutely amazed by this commercial as the director manage to tap in the emotional value of its viewers! good job :) it's more than just than hair at the end D:

  • at school these hearing people bully m..WHY because im DEAF and i think hearing people are fucking RUDE

  • My school has a special class for deaf students. I don't talk to them because I don't know how--though I've never seen anyone bullied before. But know that not everyone who can hear is like that. I'm sure if some people did know how to do sign language, they'd be willing to converse with you c:

  • You can talk to them even if you don't know how to sign. They're not going to bite you.

  • @lolajl or you can get a notebook and pencil and write them a message.

  • Great TVC! its just quite unbelievale that she can tape the broken pcs back & still sound good like she did.

  • can anyone tell me the originn of this song ,,by whom iot was created?

  • Canon by Pachelbel

  • "Why am I different from others?"

"Why do you have to be like others?"

    --Good one! Love this commercial

  • i hate it when somebody tells you you're wasting their time

    0:25

...do you realize that maybe they are wasting their time on you too?

  • deaf people are people too!!!

    they can play

i believe in all of them and everybody else who's been look down upon just because they seem to not be able to do something

    bless all of them

  • OH MY GOD

I'm crying.. and I have a COLD ahhh

    i love it... wow

although the hair flying all over is uhhh

    amazing still

  • Beautiful Thai lady, beautiful music, Thailand i miss you.

  • thai air time must be dirt cheap for all those marathon commercials to be playing all the time

  • beautiful.

    seven rose.

  • this coulda been a great movie

  • this is a movie

  • Who is this girl?? She is remarkable!!

  • OMG every time i see this video i cry

  • me2 .. every single time

  • lol I thought she was going to say "Owned".

  • it was very inspiring not just because she's extra ordinary but the value behind the commercial is clearly seen that we dnt have to under estimate the capacity of a one person

  • the background song is called

    "Canon"

  • in playing o2jam ...

  • jiaoyinyang " logic knowledge, school IS different things" right, so college doesn't teach knowledge, or logic, obviously the LSAT has no logic in it, and going to harvard law, obviously there is no logic and knowledge. 2nd of all I started getting pissed when you started posting ridiculous comments that didn't respond to what I was saying Anybody would be f'ing pissed if that happened. 3rd

manners has nothing to do w/ law school.8 yrs + common sense is enough to know what i"m talking about.

  • ahaha, don't make a fool of yourself by talking about logic in that way

of course school is important and all, but

    law school or not...

    it doesn't prove anything

logic isn't based of what you learn in school

who the hell says logic comes from school?

if logic was based off from school, then i assume those who can't attend school are consider dumb in your views which is false

too much hate coming from you..

    that's all i know

  • if logic and knowlege is only based upon school, then i assume before the creation of school systems..

    all people must be dumb

    is that wat you're saying?

    if that's so then...

how can a system be even created back then?

    school doesn't create logic..

now does it create common sense

so don't speak about common sense to me if you're going to talk like that and look down on people so low just cuz they can't hear and so forth

  • Sorry I was wrong jiao. Of course they're not limited! blinds can pilot jets, a person deaf from the start can become the greatest violinist in this world. Just look at all the great deaf violinists and blind pilots today! THEY ARE NOT LIMITED IN ANYTHING THEY DO! ISN'T THAT GREAT AND ISN'T THAT REALITY? . And btw PIANO AND VIOLIN ARE FUNDAMENTALLY DIFFERENT IT DOENSN"T TAKE YEARS TO ACHIEVE THE PERFECT BEAUTIFUL TONE AND PLAY THE ACCURATE KEY W/O BEING SHARP OR FLAT. PIANO: PRESS AND NOTE COMES

  • for Christ's sake, it's just a commercial

no one is asking a critic or opinion, like you know it all and you are a book. Jesus...

at the first scene you can actually see the young girl watch the man playing an instrument, "maybe" she was curious and wonder about this deaf poor man's instrument that pleases a "normal" person. It inspire her to play Violin

Ben-Han Sung is also a deaf who is known for playing piano and violin.

Im sure there are plenty of them just google it. Peace ya'll

  • you must be in middle school. I don't think you listened to any of my points. You're just throwing random stuff out. Do you even play the violin and know what goes into it? AGAIN YOU RETARD: BEETHOVEN HAD EXTENSIVE TRAINING AND WAS ALREADY A VIRTUOSO BY THE TIME HE WENT DEAF. 2. HE WAS A PIANIST NOT A VIOLINIST. 3. EVELYN GLENNIE IS A PERCUSSIONIST COMPLETELY DIFFERENT FROM VIOLIN PERCUSSION IS ALL RHYTHM AND FEELING THE BEAT BUT NOT VIOLIN. AND

  • who ever said that Beethoven was a violinist?

I didn't even point out what he does yet.

I'm not in middle school, are you?

If you aren't then you shouldn't be throwing smack around and calling people a retard when you're the one not realizing that people aren't limited.

I know Beethoven is a pianist. I'm a pianist and violinist. Why should I not know?

of course you're right about Beethoven, but still...

you should realize that music is music..

it doesn't matter if it's the piano or violin

  • it doesn't matter if Beethoven knew how to play the piano before he went deaf because one fact is, if you are right about deaf people, then he shouldn't even be able to play the piano and yet he still knows how so that only proves you are wrong.

    besides the mention facts...

their are some people who have develop a somewhat 6th sense and is able to feel the music even if they are deaf

if you're calling me a retard and a middle schooler

i suggest you do your research

  • and of course...

    if I were you..

i would check the mirror and recognize that I'm not the retard and middle schooler when it is you who has no clue in what you're talking about when it comes to limitation and logics

and don't dare give me your age as an excuss because age doesn't make a person wise or not either

  • no of course not but being in harvard law school and having played the violin for 8 years is credentials enough.

  • you fool. Why would a deaf person not be able to learn violin? You know nothing about the human brain. Perhaps the brain learns to "hear" through the vibrations, after all. The jaw bone is very sensitive to vibrations and the violin touches the jawbone. I'm not saying it would be easy. But who are you to say its impossible?

  • wtf? what you said on beethoven doesn't even make sense. if I am right about deaf people. it proves one thing: A) had beethoven been deaf from the start he couldn't have played the violin and B) I never said a deaf can't play piano.

  • since you never said a deaf can't play the piano, then you must mean they could, then which means that a deaf can play the violin also

who cares if you went law school & played violin for 8 years

it doesn't even prove that you know well that people aren't limited even if they seem to be

logic, knowledge & school is 3 different things

why are you talking about Beethoven & the violin?

i never said anything about Beethoven and the violin in the first place until you did then i just replied

  • law school?...

I assume that must means you should know your manners, right?

    and...

yet you don't because you're cussing and talking smack

it just proves one thing that you aren't who you think you are

shouldn't be going around saying stuff when you haven't even done the research

i have no time to keep responding, so ttyl

have fun with watever you're doing

  • We've grown up in an environment where we're indoctrinated on the ideals of equality and opportunity. Certainly I'm not advocating that we should take active steps to limit those that are handicapped. We should create as many possibilities as we can for them. But let's face the blatant truth here and step out of the fantasy world where everything is lovely and peaceful. There are certain things that handicaps can't do. A blind can't pilot a jet and a deaf can't be a violin virtuoso.

  • read here...

    en .wikipedia. org /wiki/Music

    it says

    --

Deaf people can experience music by feeling the vibrations in their body, a process which can be enhanced if the individual holds a resonant, hollow object

    --

just because a person seems limited because of some kind of disability or accident doesn't mean he or she really is limited in what they do

I know because i know people who seem to be limited, but then they can do alot

  • People aren't limited even if they are deaf, blind and so on.

People should learn to give more hope in those who seems limited instead of believing that they really are limited.

It's not stupid, it's pure logic. A person is only limited if he chooses to believe he is. This goes out to everybody including those who aren't disable in any way.

  • "Heavier-than-air flying machines are impossible."

Yeah, so tell us again. All the things which are impossible for human beings to do, because they fall outside the confines of your narrow mind

  • yes, you are so right about that

iono how most people see it, but i think the human mind is very impressive

  • I like it very much but need more more on actions, gesture, high motivation to make audience will understand more than that.Good opportunity and best commercial, but people will open their eyes and understand well about deaf life and accept who they are.Congrats....You are my inspiration and build confidence thank you very much.

  • Lol I just realized it was Pantene, shampoo products! WTF? Nice though.

  • Good, good, good.

The best commercial, but only the inteligent people will understand.................

    :-))

  • Whoever said that people who are deaf or something are limited in what they do?

people who are deaf can play music just as well except they can't hear

music isn't just about ears, i think their's more to it

  • this comment is so stupid that I hesitated to respond to it initially. If you don't listen to music then what do you do? What is the point of music? people who are deaf can never develop tone or bow technique. Do you even understand how much listening goes into learning? you think violinists just practice on their own and become like that? THey listen to an incredible amount of classical music to learn. You obviously don't know a thing about classical music or music at all for that matter.

  • of course theres more to it. Music is produced by vibrations. The human brain is truly amazing in its ability to adapt. With practice, the deaf could learn to distinguish different pitches by the vibrations they feel, even learning how to "hear" through the vibrations. Let the cynics scoff, there world is a dull one

  • What do you say about Beethoven? o.o

  • FIrst, Beethoven wasn't a string player, he was a pianist. Second Beethoven wasn't deaf from the start, he had an incredible amount of training and practice before he started going deaf. And the guy was a total genius. You can't start music, learn the basics, and progress through on strings if you are deaf. If maybe you were a horn or woodwind player then maybe but not on strings!

  • Seems you are the only one who awake here.....

I totally agree with you ,but they would never listen to you.....save your time! I mean it!!
