@2306nicole That is why they changed the ending in the movie. People rejected him stepping into the horse fight and getting killed (if that's what you are referring to)

This movie has a very special place in my heart because the man sitting at the table with Sam Neil, to his right in the red flannel shirt, that is my birth father! He is not longer with us, but I am so proud, honored, and I can't put into words how much it means to forever have him on video! Thank you for letting him be a small part of your world and giving me the gift of always being able to still see him!!
LOVE THIS!!! Robert Redford says more with his eyes than another actor could say with 50 pages of script. Maybe the reason this doesn't have more views is that when it's shown on TV, this scene is deleted. Of all the scenes in the movie they delete this one??? So lots of people don't even know it exists. Shameful. Thanks for posting.
