On the fence the horse refused, the rider was ahead of the horse so no wonder he stopped. The rider was merciless to the horse's back. No good rider would deliberately do this to his horse.

Apparently they bet each other they couldnt do each others sport and here is the outcome. Clearly he can ride if he's staying on and getting his stirrups back, and the horse looks pretty balanced and not too bothered about it.

That poor poor horse (or was it a pony? - looked awfully small). How that guy stayed on is beyond me - there was more than one jump where he was so far out of the saddle that his feet were on a level with the horses back... That must be the best damn horse in the world, because every single one I know would have killed him.

WTF is wrong with humans. Using a very nice horse for a pranky competition. Very unfair. The idiot rider, absolutely has NO seat and very harsh on the horse's mouth. Idiot... he uses the whip in exaggeration, too! Let him go back to his Polo ponies and whip abuse on them...poor things.

@showjumpingchick1994 because the man has a very good and honest horse/pony who will do anything under almost any circumstances. by the video you can see that the man has no seat, he may be a good flat rider but as soon as it comes to jumping, he has no seat. :)

HOLY COW!!!!! that has to be some of the worst jumping I have ever seen!!!! Seriously at one point he landed on his neck!! I am not surprised he dirty stopped at a jump. Then he smacked him in anger and jumped him again only to leap right off the saddle. Poor horse!!!!

what the hell is this guy doing, i would love to compete at this level and he is just destroying it!... you can see the horse preparing itself for him landing so heavily... the way this rider throws his reins and whips the horse just shows how hes blaming the bloody horse, DUDE.... get off and learn how to ride... might aswell ride standing on the horses back :/ urghhhhhh

That is the worst I've ever seen.
You can see before the jump how the horse prepares for him crashing down on it's back, and that it actually hurts.
One thing that also striked me was how he, before every single jump, both chases it with his hands, arms, legs, and whip.
I'm surprised over the fact that the horse actually keeps going.

That poor poor horse (or was it a pony? - looked awfully small). How that guy stayed on is beyond me - there was more than one jump where he was so far out of the saddle that his feet were on a level with the horses back... That must be the best damn horse in the world, because every single one I know would have killed him.
Hell, I'm still trying to figure out how he came out of the saddle like that at all!

I don't see how it is actually possible for someone to be doing showjumping of that level and be that shit. That horse is so good to him, all he does is reef his mouth around corners and whack him when he's not flat chat. Ever thought that you may have outgrown your childhood pony? Honestly has no control of his body, how he didn't fall off... I have no idea.

lol do you any of you guys even know what the story behind this even is? The guy jumping is a polo player, and his jumper friend said if he would jump a course then he'd play polo. So he did, and this was the outcome.
Kudos to this guy for staying on, but I feel for the horse!
