there's no overpowering in virtua fighter except Dural, which is the ultimate fighting machine. the shun player just mastered shun's fighting style, thats all.
doa and virtua fighter are in different leagues. doa is flash and speed and counter driven while virtua fighter is skill based and has a good fighting system. Virtua fighte is he Father of all 3d fighting games to be exact. its the first and therefore it has to set the standards for true fighting enthusists. and it always delivers. shun doesnt look overpowered. I prefer tekken myself but virtua fighter is the street fighter of the 3d fighting genre. One advantage of vf is it's lack of noobs and casual idiots.
We all begin as noobs but xbox live and psn are FULL of ignorant people who think they are the best because they win with a broken character or strategy. I have had new players on tekken 6 tell me I suck because the lag allowed them to spam me and I refused to spam back. Casuals don't belong in fighting games
Allow me to rephrase that. Casuals should have their own lobby or something because even if you defeat them you still lose. Casuals need to GFG instead of spoiling the expierence for everyone else.

@MaxMicster Ever since the patch it hasn't been as bad... people can't spam anymore so now they just quit. Sometimes they send hate mail and tell me how good supposedly are.
@lipailong2 on online i thought i was preety badass, but then i got to the charctaers that started glowing those guys whooped my ass, i mean sereously every character thatwas glowing.
w00t im glad shun looks really sick now. some of his moves werent so great in normal 5 and left me so open. but i mean, shun used to be so bleh in comparison to some people, it just seemed he was quicker at dodges, or people made up for shuns bleh with dodges, maybe its just me? oh well. do you guys think theyll port this to consoles
yes shun looks strong....vf5 was already unbalanced...lets hope this doesnt find its way into R....from this video it looks like shun has an edge and the new character jean certainly looks like a monster as well

Wow, As a shun player, i can't wait to get my hands on VF5 R (although I will probably have to wait until it comes to consoles). Shun's multiple stances seem to have been vastly improved, and we now have multiple options of which ones we want to go into after certain chains... must... get... version... R!!!!
i can't believe it, that did not look like chibita at all, this is probably the strongest shun ever, that was a very one sided match if i ever see one

I agree that only noobs use cheap/broken characters, but to say that casual gamers shouldn't be playing fighting games is going a bit overboard.
