Congratulations! We have to take a theory test too. It's just called your learner's permit test. You get a learner's permit, then you can drive with a licensed driver. Once you've had your permit for six months, and are 16, you can take your road test. That's how it works in Alabama anyway. You probably don't care.
Be sure to look for JK Rowling while you're in Edinburgh. You never know.
