The sad thing is that we could eventually develop these tonics and plasmids over time if we were allowed to do so, however as Ryan said, the damn government with their regulations, bureaucracy, and ethics and morality just prevent us from doing so many marvelous things with genetics and the world of science. If only Rapture was real, its a shame.

1.) Does rapture have an area code?

2.) People where able to leave and return to rapture right?

1) I don't know exactly what the area code is, but the coordinates of Rapture is outside Reykjavik on Iceland.

2) No they were not as Ryan was very paranoid and was afraid that the people would inform people of Raptures existence, which would then lead to it's downfall. There were some though, who worked for Ryan getting people into Rapture, but this was only when the city was being built and when it was newly created.

the game isn't scary. But its awesome though! I reckon the movie will be great no matter what. I want to see some scary stuff added into the movie, maybe the main person is in a room, then all the lights turn off, then he turn on but very slowly then the guy turns around & you see a big daddy right infront of his face, that will be scary as hell! they should've done that in the game though, it disappointed me how nothing happens when the lights turn off. i expected something scary. oh well...

The part that got me is when you are in Hephaestus, I think it was, and you are walking through that room, and the lights flick off, and when the y turn back on you see dead bodies on the floor, and you keep going, and the flick off again, and you get to the door where there's more dead bodies, and they jumped and started attacking you.
