I grew up watching this show! I remember running home after school to watch Redwall. This was by far my favorite show to watch in elementary school! It's been over 10 years since I last watched this and I still love it!

Did anyone notice a few mistakes in the show? One would be that Friar Hugo is still alive while he is supposed to be dead in Mattimeo. Second would be that there should be two bells instead of one

I think a Mossflower adaptation would be so awesome, especially since I'm both a huge Redwall fan and an aspiring filmmaker (live action) as well. Judging by the concept art and storyboarding, it looks like you guys sure do know what you're doing, which is great. I'm sorry I can't help you guys out with the rights stuff, but I hope everything goes well!

@TheJeffDing Thanks, man. I'm just a VA, but we've got a great group. Unfortunately, thanks to "legal hurdles" and Mr. Jacques' passing, we were coerced by the lawyers to abandon the project. We're currently working on an entirely fan-created story, as well as an animated short.

The only thing this helped me with is sizes of the various creatures. I could never in my imagination scale martin the warrior and boar the fighter (just as I never understood harry potter and hagrid until i saw the movies).

I like how this is book faithful, but i absolutely detest the animation. I would really love to see these book made into feature films, even if they had to blend two of the books together at certain times.

@lavmdmv09 The only Books that ever got an Animated series are Matthias [Redwall], Martin [Martin the Warrior] and Mattimeo. Although I highly recommend getting all of the books as well! They are all very well done!

And you may as well get all of the books, since Brian Jacques passed away in 2011, there will not be any more.

@ambersdarkfox it was either Grumm or rose's brother I think it was Grumm thats the only part I remember a bit hazy. Its just mentioned of travelers from noonvale the rest of the info is in the book. Alot in the book that was left out and it still taken most the night to watch hehe

I just read the book like not a day or two ago...Not to be complaining or anything just want to state out... One it wasn't Tim the church mouse who told the story it was a young mousemaid who traveled to Redwall and was born in Noonvale. 2. The drawing design and vioces are iffy a bit. 3. Luke went to battle corsairs and such. And I think thats it.

@thevalin13 It was Pallum and Grumm's Desendants that came from noonvale. It was mentioned that it was known to them because of two travelers from noonvale had told them. So this was not spot on book but like a retelling. Also to mention about it the Pallum here was female where in the book he was a male. Don't believe me then watch the end part at the very last and look up the character info on the red wall Wikia

@megadracosaurus They mean a stoat, which is similar to a weasel but bigger. Yes, Badrang does look a bit dog-like here, I guess that's because of the black fur. Stoats, unless they have some sort of pigment disorder such as melanism, will not have black fur, they either have chestnut or dark brown fur mostly. I guess they coloured Badrang black to make him stand out from the other characters, to make him more intimidating, I suppose.

He says Martin is his "predeccesor", this means he was the Redwall Warrior before him, not his relative ancestor.

The only way Redwall can make it make on TV is if an American Broadcaster helps finance a 4th season although apparently they seem to only use the money for retarded shows like Fanboy & Chum Chum. This story had heart, characters and a good story even if the book series wasn't made. Humour is balanced out with the seriousness
