There were black people getting signatures for some ballot there and whenever they got close to the main tea party mob they'd stop saying it. The STL TP is 99% racist clowns, from the top down. On a national level the TP leadership is even coming down on them. At the tax day rally there were two women running around briefing everyone NOT to say the N word man.. get real.

@ProfessorCP Well, if they were saying that they were flat out wrong in doing so. I don't believe that that is at all indicative of the vast majority of the tea party crowd. It certainly isn't the way I feel. I would like to refer you to Bertha Louis's speech to the Young Democratic Socialist meeting that is on YouTube. If that's not racist, then I don't know what is. It, unfortunatley, runs both ways.

I then started looking up info on the people I heard speaking, and was appalled at the things they are involved in. I looked up who was funding the TP, who was profiting. You can do it too. Everyone assumes 'anti TP' = liberals, probably because that's what the TP is telling them to do.

I came there with little idea of what the tea party platforms were sans tax related stuff, and I left basically shook by how empty their rhetoric was and how thinly veiled the racism is. @ProfessorCP I just watched a video where the reporters and police where pelted with rocks and bottles and it was reported as a peaceful rally . I guess everyone has their own way of looking at things. But as an American if what you say you witness is true then it should be exposed. @ProfessorCP :NO one will be on Social Security in a few years except those to whom wealth is redistributed. There is no right to Social Security and that has been legally established. It is a collapsing Ponzi scheme. About half the country doesn't pay income tax and about half of those non payers get a "refund" check back due to the EITC and per child tax credit. The problem with Barak Obama isn't his skin, it's his ideology.

I made less than 50k, paid $2300~ in personal property, got back $1000~ federal. How much do you have to pay in to be considered a real tax paying American?
