  • I don't know what they have to do when they serve in the army, but if it actually means training, shooting, etc, then I think it's a good idea for it to be mandatory. Get your citizens in shape, get them educated, have them understand some laws, build comrade-ry which helps socially awkward people, and a whole host of other things. 2 years seems like a long time, an I don't know how old you have to be,but North Americans should perhaps do it as Grade 12 or bring it back as Grade 13.

  • how do you get the autographed stuff? the link doesn't really do anything

  • very*

  • vert nice

  • Moon is my favorite sc2/wc3 player because I know he's still gonna be at the top in a couple years, and couple years after that... not only because he has a real life personality but because he's clever as hell in his life choices

  • @JAMEISA000 he kinda suck at sc2. just saying.

  • @keme989 Love how you reply to 6 months old comments, just saying.

  • @MrBlueSleeves he still suck back then LOL

  • One might say that Moon captured his wife like a fast expansion.

  • @RockingMassn

    hahhaa

  • @RockingMassn dude, i laughed so hard, thanks man :D

  • 3:15 wtf was that hutch from machinima?

  • @FlubeSponsorship Rotterdam.

  • these pro computer gamers are extremely healthy and outgoing, and you imagine computer gamers as people who sit on the couch everyday eating crisps

  • 5:32 My Way, as interpreted by WHO?

  • I'm glad i was able to get known a bit those legends :)

Its nice to be a part of that even from behind

Such a nice people, its a bit irritate that some of the stupid users of youtube are so envy and write shitty comments but anyway theyre lives are kind of dream come true :)

  • 3:12 Hey its Rottendam

  • I don't quite see how certain news stations look at the life of somebody like NaDa or Boxer, and conclude they're horrible addicts.

  • i wonder.. is all the People at the korean army the best gamers in the world?

  • @Angecide

some countries like south Korea FORCE young men to get in to the army for a few years for training

  • what do they do after theyr gaming careers are over?

  • @nataku7 If you watched whole document, you would know the answer to that question.

  • @Terrotti i did watch it all, but like what about when they're 40 and they have no career because they spent all their time gaming?

  • @nataku7 They works as game masters or gaming equipment/game testers.

  • maybe the are best in war3 and starcraft but in counter-strike everyone knows who is the best in the world :) ofcourse Neo and his team :) place

  • weellll once they get into the army. other teams might actually finally have a chance to win a damn championship

  • both are really well mannered and are good guys, but they seem to regret the life in social isolation a bit, well wish them the best! i keep on playing for fun :)

  • oGsNaDa <3

  • feeling that they have a bit regrets to be pro gamer

  • I really hope they both get really fun lives, they seem like just so likeable persons. I also hope that the army won't be too harsh on them.

  • More gaming, less talking--

  • MooN isnt the kind ofguy made for the army, maybe he should register for college and he wouldnt have to go to the army. I like the guy, very competitive but at the same time, a gentle personality.

  • I wish for Nada's luck in SC2! :)

  • the koreans and japaneese are just so different than other races...they all seem so calm and have this nice life philosophy even the hardcore gamers are not your typical nerds...i love them :D

  • @urkomplex Yeah I agree. The more I find out about Korean culture, and the Pro Gamer lifestyle over there the more I like it. I try to model my attitude towards gaming like theirs, because I feel that you can be proud of being a gamer like that. There is a clrear cut difference between a gamer by profession, and someone who is good at games, but lets it eat away at their very well being and life.

  • @Vaughnlesterinoz yes, and the ones who spend 14 hours a day playing a game are the ones who are letting it eat away at their life.

  • @EpicManasaur Not really. You don't hear of sponsored pro gamers dieing from over playing and not many of the korean pros are overweight. Infact NaDa is pretty buff. There is a difference between a drive for a passion and an obsession that gets in the way of your self preservation and common sense.

  • @urkomplex yeah but in other countrys we are forced to do shits ;/ some parents dont accept their childs playing games ..

  • @urkomplex Yeah, they're awesome. But they are like that because they are more accepted as pro gamers in their society than your typical American or British pro gamer.

  • Nada has a fucking badass watch! i want it!!

  • nice hax huh ? I like .

  • a lot of asian beatles

  • I just love how happy they all are ! :D

  • Why is he joining the army?

  • @supergod58 its mandatory to get training in the army for a couple years in korea

  • @supergod58 They draft people into the army in Korea, If you are male and over 18 you have an 70% chance of getting drafted into the army to serve your country.

  • @TeeeeeB over 18 and between what age limits? 30 max?

  • @TeeeeeB 70%? r u sure its not 100%?

  • @supergod58 all koreans must join the army when they reach 21 years old i believe. and they must stay there for 2 years before they decide to leave or stay. its the law everyone has to.

  • @supergod58 its a must in korea.

  • KFC!!!

  • south koreans are pretty americanized. Wearing jeans and baseball is a very popular sport there.

  • haha I saw NaDa today at the cologne train station from gamescom. He is such a shy guy in real life, with a pink motorola handy xD

  • I can relate to NaDa, his a good person.

  • Comment removed

  • These are the greatests gamers not just a kid who play console

  • only 8000 dollers compared to some winnings ive seen other people make thats like poop

  • @tomstutorials Oh, shit he made 8k at some small tournament for playing a game. Obviously much better than what you're doing. Run along and upload more of your "tutorials."

  • @Gettingpersonalrofl did i say he was shit no. Im just saying i would of like to see this based on some bigger gamers. Now gettingpersonalrofl Suck MY COCK

  • @tomstutorials They are the biggest gamers in Korea, you faggot. Rofl, get all mad now huh that you want some homosexual experiences. Seriously, get the fuck outta here, didn't I tell you to run along?

  • @Gettingpersonalrofl i wasnt on about korea im on about the world. also stop trying to be a troll little faggot. XD

  • @tomstutorials Rofl, if you were about the world, then you watched the wrong videos because clearly this video was about pro gamers in Korea. It even says it in the description. Fucking fail more. I'm also not trying, I'm actually succeeding, got you all riled up for homosexuality.

  • @Gettingpersonalrofl ok what ever you say =] Can i touch you

  • @tomstutorials he also makes 550 thousend a year from the country and 108 grand a year from his team

  • @lolsheep13 Holy shit. So being a gamer in Korea is an actual career path... interesting.

  • @OSUlax959 Yes, wish other places could be more like Korea, Korea is known for many good things.

  • @CaboooseHK

    Please enlighten me.

What is your definition of normal life and why?

  • i love the video style and editing :D

  • how old are these guys? Im guessing between 17-22?

  • @locoender

    they retire before 28-30 ish

  • when he asked the question "what concerns do you have about going in the army" (or something like that) i smiled an thought of North Korea.

  • Does anyone know what is the ending song?

  • Kind of sad that they have to be in the army for 2 years =[

  • pretty good documentary

  • That was actually pretty good :)

  • Let's see what those high APM hands work on Moon's new wife ;D.

  • @beserkerninja lucky wife indeed

  • @beserkerninja

    lol. Good one.

  • sky is better than both of them i think

  • They all seem extremely introverted. Maybe that's just Japanese culture though. (The Japanese guys I know are similar.)

  • @MiloDaemon they aren't Japanese, but Korean.

  • @js4777 There's a difference? J/k, I meant Korean. (Like, honest mistake, seriously.)

  • @MiloDaemon ya i noticed that. iam like that too. i'am a hardcore gamer myself, so i can relate to some of those professional Korean gamers and what they do.

  • @scottyz24 Whats your APM?

  • one might say he grabbed his wife like a fast expansion?

  • @llz22

Nah he went for rush at first scout.

  • @llz22 Not the best tactic... who knows what crazy things you could run into.

  • @llz22 Yea, he got his natural up and mining in the early game.

  • @llz22 yeah probably around 15 supply

  • @llz22 such a lame joke, seriously. 195 people would laugh at "Why did the chicken cross the road?"

  • The fu*king first price was 8.000$ ? I bet what his sponsors earn through him dwarf whatever he gets. And in a few year's time, he'll be all wasted and discarded.

Seems to be a tough "field of work", to say the least.

  • @Ileyon well remember the sponsors are also well estabilished companies like samsung n stuff. prob dont need it that much.. and that was probably a mid sized local tournment. wcg is 20,000 for first place

  • @Ileyon I read somewhere that when they leave the gaming circuit they get really good IT jobs.

  • @Ileyon if u want to earn money playing video games professionally, i suggest Major League Gaming (MLG). Each first prize for each event is worth $20,000. At least if you play Halo 3. and for the championships, over $100,000 for the first prize winner!!

  • @scottyz24 Good luck making it through AM bracket and then even breaking top 8. Then subtract flight and hotel costs from what you win. Only people who make money in mlg are the very top, no one else

  • @PwnNubtarzz your a fag dude mlg is bull shit they have to share all there money. moon makes 550 a year of of korea

and 108 thousend a year of his team

and an aditnol 10-30 thousend dollars a year

    so lets add thatup

668 000 - 688 000 a year suck it bitch mlg guy s live in there mothers basement

sorry i cant spell but who cares go suck a big dick ( preferably your moms

  • @lolsheep13 are you retarded? my comment was saying that mlg people don't make money you dumbass... I guess I don't even need to ask that huh

  • @PwnNubtarzz our a fag dude mlg is bull shit they have to share all there money. moon makes 550 a year of of korea

and 108 thousend a year of his team

and an aditnol 10-30 thousend dollars a year

    so lets add thatup

668 000 - 688 000 a year suck it bitch mlg guy s live in there mothers basement

sorry i cant spell but who cares go suck a big dick ( preferably your moms

  • @scottyz24 thats split over 4-5 players dume ass

oh ya and our a fag dude mlg is bull shit they have to share all there money. moon makes 550 a year of of korea

and 108 thousend a year of his team

and an aditnol 10-30 thousend dollars a year

    so lets add thatup

668 000 - 688 000 a year suck it bitch mlg guy s live in there mothers basement

sorry i cant spell but who cares go suck a big dick ( preferably your moms

  • @Ileyon

moon is the #1 warcraft 3 player in the world...he earns at least 100,000 US dollars per year through tournament earnings alone (the 8k shown in the video is a small tournament) and the earnings he gets from sponsors are confidential

  • @Ileyon His salary is 16 000$/month, in 2007 he made over 160 000$ through prize money alone. You can add his salary to that, back then he was under different contract which was around 9 000$/month. WC3 is slowly dieng due to being so old and SC2 taking over, thats why there aren't many big tournaments left and the prize money is smaller these days. Still he should be a millionaire through his earnings he made playing WC3 for around 6 years.

  • I wish they would talk more about the gaming aspect of their lives... Wasn't that supposed to be the point?

  • @johnlee052 well they did cover that...talked about how they trained...what else more do you want? all pro gamers basically sleep eat and play...and are confined in a building for most of the time... although they do exercise as shown here.

  • suck's to be american dude who have to compete with these guy's : D

  • @zerackid hahha

  • @zerackid hahha

  • moon really looks like boxer in some frames

  • I thought Moon was saying he'd like to see Seoul with his future wife. I had no idea he married so early. He's one of the most modest, genuinely chill progamers everytime there's an interview.

  • when the razerzone/haxlife competition will end :? the event had to be ended already ,before 4 days, and still no winners :( need help need razer :D

  • Sorry Razer. I love your merchandise, and I love gaming and everything. But these videos have been.. pretty lame.. almost depressing really..

  • @wasabisexy wat

  • @wasabisexy Why is it depressing?

  • @ashkaradur718 If I had to guess... I'd say the depressing feeling comes from how these guys see gaming as work more than fun (they have to, and to them it is)

And also the realization that to ever be anywhere near _that_ good, you'll have to find 11+ hours a day at least 3 days a week to play non-stop video games.

For some, that isn't hard, but for most, that is impossible.

  • @General4nubis yeah i lvoe games n wanted to go pro in cs but it would get super boring playing for so many years hours n hours a day

  • @ashkaradur718 It shows that they have to play hours on end and work as hard as they can. It is wake, eat, and game then sleep and re-do it all over the next day. Not having a normal life and to have all the stress of the next game they have to win. Little time to get out and see people then join the AirForce. It just shows being a Pro Gamer at this level is not all fun and games.

  • @CabooseHK looks like it's no fun and all games xD

  • @wasabisexy YOU are depressing. =)

  • @tarutso Yeah, I am pretty depressing aren't I..

  • @HooKt4

Sky is ranked the best human player of Warcraft.

  • Comment removed

  • @EspionageNinjax Not really anymore... and what does your comment have to do with anything HooK4 wrote?

  • Moon FTW!! You will win the WCG :D

  • @HooKt4 but he lost to focus in the top 8 so he wont

  • @lolsheep13 ye. very bad

  • Thx Razer thx WeMadeFox

i think you needed to ask another question - how did you get famous, how did you get spotted by the sponsors

  • @MpoEntertainment Oh well, thats easy to answer. The better you play, the more you achieve. As soon as you start winning important leagues and cups, clans or organisations will recognize you, recruit you for a team, which includes the sponsort etc.

  • @MpoEntertainment Be Korean. Nearly all progaming teams are Seoul-based so unless you're a national, unlikely you'll be recruited. Though there are a few foreigners who made a name from dominating their own individual leagues.

  • 4th ^^ that was VERY awesome!!! =))))

  • 3rd lol

  • that was awesome!

  • @wolkaniec thats what she said
