looks to me like you still had it in negative pitch when you came out of inverted because you pulled up elevator at the last second before the crash so you still had control!!!
@jsa2001 looking at what happened after the event, i had bogged the engine down with far to much combined pitch values. basically it had nearly stalled the engine loosing rotor head speed. i had 24deg combined pitch.
i have repaired it now and changed values back to no more than 18deg combined pitch. now runs fine.
cheers for your thoughts and i can see what you mean. i have put a video on here about combined pitch so others dont do what i done.
Oh dear, I have one word to say my friend, INSURANCE! lol, wouldn't want to be standing under it though :P great flying though mate, especially in some of your other videos too, keep up the good work!
Ouch... I can't imagine crashing bigger than a 450 heli! Good to see you still posting vids of your adventures! I haven't posted vids recently as my vid cam got `lost` on my b-day when I went tandem sky-diving! Been hitting the sim and just got eFlite mSR to practice orientations indoors during California's `winter` season!
sorry to see that happen to you fella. your honey bee set up videos is how i learned to fly in the first place. thanks to you i fly quite regularly. but we have all had that happen at 1 stage ore another...... comes with the territory i guess! sorry bro.
your heli crashes are from equipment failure while my crashes are usually from pilot error. either way, it's a crappy feeling when it hit's the ground. great flying as usual though
whats that song?
