  • Thank you so much for posting these! I watched Dr. Buscaglia as a young girl and have never forgotten him. His message never grows old!

  • Inspiration to me for years...cant let him go!

  • This is a man that shows what it is to be alive and full of passion and wonder for life. What an example !

  • I am 14 years old and I searched his name because he was simply mentioned(I can't even remember when or why) and just listening to him brought tears to my eyes.

  • This guy is funny at the same time he is amazing person god bless this man.

  • Who are the four dumbasses who disliked this? What is there to dislike? He is amazing! I miss him.

  • @liliodine I agree... I use to watch LEO on PBS as a teen in the 70's and 80's... most wonderful man in the world

  • You can tell he's a great speaker when you get upset with the voice in the introduction for cutting him off.

  • WOW THIS IS GETTING REALLY CREEPY EVERYONE SEARCH UP INSIDE RIGHT NOW ITS THIS GIRL WHO HAS BEEN KIDNAPPED AND PEOPLE ARE TRYNA FIND HER BUT NO1 CAN AND SHE HAS A LAPTOP AND INTERNET ITS SO WEIRD OMFG JUST SEARCH ' INSIDE '

  • when he just mentioned suicides..... I couldn't look his face straight anymore without tears in my eyes. I remember when I heard about his death. how I felt like just trowing myself to ground, scream and cry, or just run until I run out of tears. you taught me million definitions of love, million ways to love, million hopes for love; and became Mr. Love for me, for everybody who loves you... and you just killed love! can I ever dare to forgive you, as you never forgave us.

  • Next to Christ in my book he's my man if can't teach us about love nobody can !"

  • why does it keep stopping in the beginning

  • @sbjazz22 It's just the intro :) Crazy film back in the day I guess :)

  • Very INSPIRING. We need more speakers like Leo, especially within the churches, because a lot of Christians truly DON'T know how to love. They've been trained to judge, condemn and object to so much that they have lost a sense of how to LOVE.

  • What an incredible, wonderful man. I really wish he was still alive so I could tell him a big "THANK YOU" for inspiring me that much, as he inspired millions of other people:')

  • Ahhh this makes so much sense :)

    Grattitude... joy... rejoice!

    Living in love

    Harry

  • I am grateful!!!!

  • Leo has always been able to brighten my days since I discovered him in the late 1970's. I miss him, but thank goodness I can watch him on my DVDs, listen to him on my cassette tapes, and now on YouTube.

If you don't feel good after Leo's lecture, perhaps you better watch another with an open mind and open soul.

Celebrate life and live life fully with love!

  • watching him is like a Sufi sohbet for me....I take his message to my heart. People call him a motivational speaker, but he's much different than that. I think he just pulls back the veil and reveals to us the truths in our hearts.

  • Over 30 years ago I first began watching a wonderful man named Leo Buscaglia, PhD, who gave magnificent talks on Love. Prof. of Psych. at UCLA, he was the first to talk and teach about love. There was not even a book on the subject anywhere. A gifted speaker, he would boom about love, caring and talk about his ...his messages in the late 70's planted seeds that would forever change history. Nice Leo, nice work!

  • When I was in my 20's, a friend of mine gave me a book of his. Well, all I'll say is he was a character. There were anecdotes he wrote that defied logic and seemed strange and silly. With that in mind, he was perfect for the West Coast.

  • Leo B. is delightful to listen to and life inspiring.

  • I teach little kids swim lessons and the kids often tell me they love me and I never know how to respond..

  • @significantjoe just give them a hug, c'mon it's hard not to love kids when they're being sweet

  • what a load of crap, evolution prefers the violent and the strong. not the loving faggots

  • @southsydney wow, you are so wrong. Only strong people can love, the weak are violent because they are scared of the world. No, it takes a strong person not fall for the crap of being violent. My father was a Marine, a sargent in the Marines, hardcore man but he was smart enough to know that tenderness and love has its place. To know when to be hard and violent then know when it is time to be loving and soft. Real men are not scared of either one.

  • @kimrabb Indeed, I used to be a pacifist. Untill I had an experience in which I realized that nothing which is real can every be lost, damaged, so forth.

    Violence does have its place.

I do preffer words, peace, love over violence.

    Thank you for sharing.

  • Amo ler os livros do Leo Buscaglia!!!Leio há mais de 15 anos!!!

  • I recently read his book "Love". I must admit that some of his points made a lot of sense in the way I should experience love as well as the rest of mankind. I believe we often overlook the fact that love is a process, a gift, rather than a social convention and a system.

  • I love this guy.

  • Absolutely one of my favorite people of all time! So sad to know he is no longer with us. Thank God we can still watch & listen to his messages!

  • First heard him as a little girl in elementary school - HE IS FABULOUS!!! I just love him and wish he were alive still with us, but he's in my heart always.

  • When F. Leonardo Buscaglia came to San Francisco to speak for KQED channel 9, I got to hug Leo after his talk. Leo even sent me a Christmas card one year. Truely a magical and wonderful man. Please watch as many of his videos as you can. The answer is always more love. "A Wizard of Happiness" Rich Malory.

  • What an inspiration he was and is. Thanks for sharing your experience, MagicTusky9.

  • Leo was a wonderful person who gave so much to us all. I had the privilege of having a fellowship under him. Thank you for sharing this video of him.

  • prof deboni at devry university (addison campus) taught this guy everything he knows about psychology...way smarter and cooler

  • @Blutsabbath666 - Leo has been around alot longer than your professor Deboni who's only other job was at benedictine university in mid/late 80's. Leo has been doing this since at least early 70's drawing enormous crowds from Boston to Berkley. I was turned onto him about 5yrs ago by a phenomenal professor as well at Elmhurst College. That sat. morning psych. class had me at first rolling my eyes, and by the 3rd class I couldn't get enough of this class. Have his Love book and recommend it.

  • love it

  • My inspiration!!!!!

  • I just finished reading one of his books. And now hearing him speak, he kinda reminds me of Billy Mays, but still, he's a remarkable person.

  • What a blast from the past, so to speak.

This man embodies the optimism I had when I was a teenager capable of being inspired. It's beautiful to witness and remember.

  • I wish he was alive TOO. BUT HI´S ALIVE
