Spoto could not have been the only judge who heard these cases, particularly during the pretrial phases. I am not sure why he acted so sloppily with the house arrest bit, but his docket could not have seen all the offenders. If he somehow pushed the clerkship into passing all these offenders onto his docket, that is a big no-no. Do I think him stupid enough to do that? Not really. Is he an ass for not leaning on this girl with the fear of God? Sure. Was justice done all around? Hell no.

If you have information pertinent to the case, particularly in the form of alleged judicial misconduct, you should come forward with it, even if it is suspicion. This case amounted to a terrible miscarriage of justice in all eight accounts in my opinion. I would wager that the parents of the aggrieved would agree as well. Very shocking indeed. Oh, I am missing "American Idol," excuse me.

@MageSutek I actually do believe in each case the punishment that was released to media was slightly false. This was to cover up the telling game that was going on.The part of what transpired that amazes me is in regards to Jeanetta Everett. She posted Lesbian tease photos on myspace. Part 2, This girl with the lesbian photos does have her own myspace page, they too have photos, one of which in my opinion says there are more photos or just more to come. Not only is there no objestion to this girl speaking by the Lindsays, or Spoto. Not very long ago with her fairly erotic myspace page, imagine you call myspace "The AntiChrist" then your daughter, under your roof, has those photo on... Part 3 Why is Kelsie now dealing with this sort of person, in this sort of venue. You would think Kelsie's only words would have been "What is that slut doing in this court." I could go back to the political power playes of Mayes, who did in the end also win the telling game. Instead I just want to look at these details, and ask, is it now any wonder why Victoria ran away.

I guess I am unclear about why you would make a statement like this. The information in the cases, if these girls are under 18, will be sealed by the courts. Neither the media nor anyone else outside the court system would have access to the proceedings. Whatever was released to the media would have been released in a controlled and highly "filtered" manner geared to protect the rights of the minors involved. Frankly, it all is rather sordid. Myspace needs an age ban; 21 and up sounds good.

I knew something suspicious was afoot when the judge ruled in the fashion he did, although I am not following your train of logic here, perhaps because I do not have the information you do. You realize of course, whatever the character witness does in her profession or whom she chooses to sleep with, has no place in a court of law. However, were the witness "embroiled" in carnal relations with Hardcastle, her testimony could be disqualified under some laws. Good thing I am not trying the case.

Something tells me that the sexuality of the character witness has nothing to do with the merits of the case in question. Gay character witnesses are as credible as heterosexual character witnesses are, and in San Francisco, one might argue more so. All jokes aside, if the character witness's sexuality somehow affected the outcome of the case, well, that just cries mistrial. No judge would risk the implication of establishing a bias like that. Even this Spoto idiot.

MageSutek, it is interesting, this case. I do hope the book is one day writen. IMO, The Jeanetta Everett Myspace page that I bring up. Was a big part of this case, not the crime part of it though. I think there is a good chance this myspace page ruined the attack plans of Garcia & Lopez. It was the cause of youtube taking down many vlogs and coverage stopping. It caused surrender, by some parties. IMO, Cooper &or Mayes continued but via talk radio and online gossip. That was part 1.

Mage I hope you are reading this, this is part 2. Waht you say about the sealing is so true. You tube log on Utubedetective, is most likely a kinship to Cooper or Mayes. Looking at Mayes's punishments, remind you if you go to Polk County records. There is no record of mayes being arrested, even Murphy has a arrest record. My point being Mayes should have been a saint the day after on, for this, if otherwise, Spoto is an ass hole. If youtube detective is kinship to Mayes, how disgracefull

Spoto could not have been the only judge who heard these cases, particularly during the pretrial phases. I am not sure why he acted so sloppily with the house arrest bit, but his docket could not have seen all the offenders. If he somehow pushed the clerkship into passing all these offenders onto his docket, that is a big no-no. Do I think him stupid enough to do that? Not really. Is he an ass for not leaning on this girl with the fear of God? Sure. Was justice done all around? Hell no.

There very well may be a book written, but it will have to be by someone who has the passion to keep alive a story that I fear has been long forgotten, particularly in the annals of the legal system in this country. This is just one more example of kids whaling on other kids; judges have little regard for case merits in these cases, they are generally headaches anyway, and really, the girl is alive, which leaves the public lacking for the blood sport it loves. For now, it will be tabled.
