it's a number station transmitting a worded message to a spy in another country. you cannot decode it because it's a one pad type method. the spy and person has two books and after a message the pad is destroyed and the next one is used.

For fucks sake guys, euros are always paranoid. Its just the U.S. military using shortwave comms keeping them ready for EAMs. Its just a bunch of radio checks and training for in-case we need to use this system in the event of a nuclear strike that would disrupt our other comms.

In Laymans terms what "GW4UNZJNWZLDDGJHNOARXP5ORKXX" means is most likely "Hey, everything is working here. Hows' the radio on your end. Oh yeah, remember you owe me a beer tonight!"

@Bendyournoodle they use a one time pad for encryption they are practically impossible to decode unless you have the key . This was apparently an EAM from Andrews AFB, likely just a test of the system but we will never know for certain.

Sounds like an extremely long authenticator. You won't be able to decipher it, it is a random combination of letters that lead to another letter. Someone has a copy of the authenticator and they reply back with the correct letter to prove who they say they are. They are all highly classified, so good luck deciphering it.
