The difference lies within the player himself, how you pick the notes, how hard you press, precision, vibrato technique and so on. One factor is that this guitar doesn't have a scalloped fretboard for example, which may or may mnot make a difference in sound and how you play.

I've seen the DVD. Andy is an excellent guitar player and covered Malmsteen very well, but a lot of parts are wrong (for example some sweep parts here and the solo in "rising force" which is done using the tapping technique). If you want to teach someone's songs and get payed for this, then try first to learn them in the right way! Respect.

Brilliant performance. Better than Yngwie? Well, lets not get overboard. Remember, Yngwie has to play this about 200 times a year and unfortunately has must "go through the motions" at times. A few things that would help this performance. Muting and staccato. Yngwie has a insane ability to do this bends very well too. But I applaud someone for doing this one a "Les Paul" like guitar; Yngwie's sound is very tied to his setup without the hum buckers. Writing this is another story!
