i have seen 4 cylinder cars run 7 seconds in the quarter mile but it was highly modded

looks like to me he need a DCR Clutch pedal push Rod and a built tranny for he wont get gear lock out on high rev's and a twin disk clutch. those were like high 11 sec pass if he would of ran the full 1/4 mile. i am planing on breaking into the high to mid 10s with my neon this yr.

No he doesn't. These cars are VERY difficult to shift at 6500 rpm @ 600+ hp! He's getting a twin disk clutch soon which will allow him to shift much faster at higher rpm's.

I'm just saying, he shifts slow. It may be "tough to shift" but there really is no reason the shifting couldn't be faster.

Obviously you have never driven a car to those times. But that aside, when he said difficult to shift, he was meaning the car WONT go into gear at high RPM when making that much power. So yes, in theory he CANT shift faster. Post your 11 second car running a manual before you criticize. PS Nirvana sucks and I am from Seattle.

turbo cars/ fwd tend to pick up more on the bigend so you use 1.54 as the multiplier

use a higher one for rwd or n/a cars
