i am 38 years old and i do had a GBS last Dec 2011. a week before, i had a strong cough and a bit fever.this happen after a week i get my 1st Hepatitis B vaccine. 2 day before admit in hospital, i felt numbness on my right leg then going to left until i paralyzed totally. after two weeks treatment in the hospital with Plasma Exchange ,i able to walk,speak as normal again.

I STILL CAN WALK AND DO SOME THERAPY BUT GET EXHAUSTED AFTER SOME MINUTES..

I NEVER LOST THE ABILITY TO WALK ( IT WAS JUST REALLY REALLY HJARD, FELT LIKE A 90 YEAR OLD MAN ) BUT I GOT FACE PARALSIS .....

Dont dispare I've had GBS four times during my live, the second time I was in an oxygen tent. Whilst at the time you feel there is little hope and think you are the only one in the world going through this ordeal you will get though it. You must stay strong, have faith, keep the hope that another day brings better outcomes. I am 52 now and continue to have a rewarding working life.even though GBS gave me epilepisy which was removed through Brain surgery recently. I never gave up. regards BSH

Guillain-Barré syndrome also known as Toxic Vaccine Syndrome as a result of squalene adjuvant in vaccines which are very similar to oils in our own body. GBS paralyzed me from the neck down in 2008, with the numbness ascending to the eyebrows. I had no tingling at first but a weak right leg, then left leg, then right hand. Do not do as the young man in the video and I did and sleep on it because it doesn't hurt. It soon will and you can die if it paralyzes your diaphram. Thankfully I had an excellent recovery and no loss of vision, though some hearing and only residual symptoms in the hands and right foot. Early treatment will help.

I got guillian berre a few days after thanks giving. It was the most unexplainable feeling. It felt like my legs were a thousand pounds and i couldn't lift them up. My arms got weak too, but it was the worst on my legs. it started to heal after a little while. And i started to get active again. But a few days ago when i was walking with my mom my legs gave out again. Now they're as weak as they were when they were recovering! It's a slow recovery. And it's keeping me from doing what i want to..

@jayeatworld i thought i was fine for a while. I signed up for soccer and i realized that i can't do things to my full strength. i'm still not strong enough. And also, It was one day that i was unable to get up and walk on my own. The next day i could do a little more. And the next few days i was getting my strength back. Also i am very sorry for your wife. My mother had it for 6 weeks and she still isn't completely healed after having it. But hopefully she will have it easier =) Good luck

My 12 year old nephew recently got diagnosed with this, we found out he had it after he fell and couldn't walk anymore while he was at the park. They rushed him to a Phoenix hospital in a jet to get proper treatment as soon as the Doctors found out what he had. He's slowly starting to walk again.

My father has this right now. Its his first week in. Actually at the hospital now (5:11 am) tending to him, making sure to suck his saliva with a tube (had problems with fluid in his lungs). So me, my sisters and my mom are taking turns staying awake making sure hes comfortable. Best tip i have is patience. Its hard to communicate since he cant speak so they will get frustrated. Do your best to comfort them

I already had most of what I needed because I have used this on myself. All I needed from vitamin cottage was an iron/hemoglobin supplement. He was anemic & dehydrated. In Jake's case he had a very powerful immune system ignoring the blood cell as part of the body & the immune system was going to do anything it can to aggressively get to the virus & the body will kill red blood cells normally if it were a real virus, it would make quick work of the invading virus but the injected concoction completely messes up the way the immune system functions. By be removing the mercury then the immune system came to a rest & quit killing the red blood cells.

Mercury embeds itself in tissue because the body was never designed to ingest or especially to be injected with heavy metals but when chelators are introduced it's like running an intravenous magnet throughout your body then the magnet carries the metals (including minerals) out of your body. at Denver-Doctor (dot) com the visit with test was outrageously expensive $900 but I needed to know. The quickest way to remove the metals is intravenous, 30 treatments at $295 each I just don't have the money for that so I would do the slow process. I just tried & discovered DMSA to be more effective than EDTA. The doc used it to measure a before & after 2 24hr urine test. I felt really good after the DMSA

There are other forms to flush out mercury. Cilantro, Chlorella & I discovered basic foods like peas detoxify the body, essentially green stuff, chlorophyll. Ideally he wanted to do a full array of tests to get to the bottom of my complaints but lab tests are expensive so I opted to only do the heavy metal test because if I am laden with metals then those metals will affect every single organ in my body so the first step is to clear out the metals. 3 yrs ago my 15 yr old daughter was affected by GBS, it is a very scary thing to go through. In a matter of days she was paralyzed from head to toe could not breath properly for a week. ICU for 5 days at the IWK in Halifax. She was a hockey, baseball, volleyball and took long runs, very athletic. She is now a healthy 18 yr old doing modeling with 4 inch heels. I had GBS on June'2009. I was paralyzed totally. I only could breathe. After two months I started to walk. I felt better in every week and after the third month I drove a car. I started to run even play soccer, but the running and soccer were so hard.

My dad is on his third month of the disease. He is out of the hospital by now. I think that the best advice I can give you is to support her morally and once she is a bit better by no allowing footdrop, and begin physical theraphy even though she is in bed. Best of wishes!

I had the foot ups and was in a wheel chair i am still not 100% my feet have nerve damage but I am hoping that that will come back soon Your story on there rang so many bells with my own!
