@GreatBigSlide That's cool i have Hit List Vol. 2 on cd too as well it's a great cd i got mine when i was 13 and The Hit List always made my weekends now tv sucks..
This song is definitly 90's, i like when Tarzan Dan says "yo, yo, yo what do you know?" sooooo 90's! Is there anyway to get the Hit List with Tarzan Dan on dvd?
I live in Canada and i went to a Halloween event called Screamers and Tarzan Dan was 5 feet away from me but i couldn't go up to say hi because The Hit List was popular back then and there were bodygaurds around him but it was cool to see him. He also used to be on a station called Kiss 92fm as well.
I liked the Zone, whit Phil and Paul along with Snitch. And they were making such a gang before they went out. Rmbr all those hosts? They all just vanished... I can't bear to watch what they've done with it now~
Does anyone remember a show called (correct me on spelling) "Xtreme" or "Extreme" with all the random clips of sports and other stuff with music playing the whole show? And at the end of the show they showed the track list of all the bands that had a song played in the show of that episode? It played early to mid 90s if I can remember correctly. Can anyone remember and help out on tracking this amazing show down?
I cried when the Hit List got canceled. It was a shadow of its former self by the time it ended true, (as was YTV) but it was YTV's last remaining piece of its glory days.
OK, my sister brought this up and now it's driving me nuts. Does anyone remember a song that was recorded by various 90s teen artists (I think the BSB was in it) that was a charity single, I think? The video had them all in a big white room. They played the video all the time on the Hit List (Ashna era, I think). Does anyone have a clue what this song is called or who sings in it?
the song's called "let the music heal your soul". included Backstreet Boys, Nsync, Moffats, Gil and a couple other bands I don't remember..I just found it randomly on limewire a couple weeks ago...and yea it was for charity but I can't remember what charity it was...
I was just looking at some old 90's things ... and I came back to this one XD .. but question .. does anyone have like complete seasons of hit list(mostly when tarzan dan was there), radio active and system crash????? like i cant find anything.. *tear ... y cant tv now b cool like it was back then
man i loved hit list, watched it way more than muchmusic to a point .. lol .. when tarzan dan was there they played like everything then it got all blah once he left.
I remember watching this first with Tarzan Dan on Ytv when I immigrated to Canada in 1994. Then after this, Tarzan left, and then this girl named Danielle and some other guy hosted the Hit List. The show really turned crappy after 2000....
he is working as dj for sunfm kelowna his show is on at 5am-9am and you can listen live on the website...but i have to say i find his personna to be silly and immature comic relief style or maybe its just who he is paired up with.
Tarzan Dan was the epitome of Canadian talent. I wrote to the Hit List one day because I wanted to enter a contest and he sent me a post card with his autograph on it. I don't remember what I did with it. It's in my bedroom somewhere.
@kkbb333 I did i have the hit list vol. 2 on cd there was a lot of cool songs on there.

He's a radio DJ. Last station that I heard Tarzan Dan on was 104.5 Chum FM but I don't know if he's still DJing there or if he's gone somewhere else.

Hit list, v&a top 10, the zone, snit, pj phil... aaah, the good ole days.
And yes, remember the hitlist with the stupid inflatable furniture and some lame chick hosting it? That sucked. It was nothing without Dan!
