O_o After watching my mom play Megaman 2 when I was little kid, I adapted to her order of bosses and she always went for Airman first since she said it was the easiest and I totally agreed after trying out different order myself. :O And Woodman too, one of the easiest bosses in the game. Never had any problems with either of them when I used to play the game. :p

So, to beat Heatman's stage, Item-2 is needed which you can get after beating Airman but to beat Airman, Leaf Shield is needed which you can get after beating Woodman but to beat Woodman, you need to have Heatman's weapon. In other words, you're screwed.

Even, on hard mode, I still say quick Man's harder with the buster. Air Man has more than few patterns where you can get in free shots, and he still takes a while to kill you, whereas Quick Man is a spaz who knocks out a significant portion of your life by collision, but he still takes the same number of shots as Air Man

The E-tank has nothing to do with the "time barrage" it's just pausing. It resets your fall speed, and allows shots to pass through you if you pause rapidly enough.

from how i understand it the time barrage glitch is simply going to the weapons change menu and then back to the game, which alters megamans velocity making him go further, in the pictures from the link in the discription you can see him jumping a gap with it after taking the e-tank, which you normally cannot cross without item-2

It's some glitch in Rockman 2 where as you're falling from a jump, you use an E-Tank to gain some extra distance, or something.

I'll have to look up the link for you guys. There's pictures of it on some Japanese website.
