You call this sniping? What a joke, just another game to cash in on the mythologising of snipers. The only thing they got right was the Leupold TMR reticle, which isn't even the one used in the Leupold MkIV 3.5-10x40mm optic( which btw is missing the illumination turret in this game). Other than that, almost everything in this game is just wrong. "We've reached the sniping spot?" WTF??? City Interactive, do us a favour and shove this game so far up your ass it disappears forever.

@Darkozl hoards of people.... it tends to be only those without any skill that tend to shout "i want to have fun not be serious" and get pissy about realism. just take race driver grid as an example, everyone seems pretty good in multiplayer, then you turn off the driver assists and they are all over the shop as i cruise past.

the whole point of sniping games is slow, sneaky, stealthy, well timed shots, not charging in scope bam scope bam scope bam. in short, realistic.

I am very happy with the looks of this game. The game play looks outstanding to me. It's a Sniper Elite with red bull and vodka!! The bullet follow feature sniper elite has, (to me) looks like it does have it but maybe for not every shot?(1:06). Who knows! The blood effects are smashing. PLEASE HAVE A 50cal! Please make it shake my house when i shoot! (unless Suppressed of course. :) I'm on it launch date for sure.. (X box) & (PS3)

I am looking forward to a sniper game, but do have concerns on this one, it seems other than the slow bullet graphic that there is no travel time between firing and impact in the game, also will there be any effects on the rounds such as bullet drop? Even old games such as Deltaforce and Arma have bullet drop and travel time which makes the game much more realistic and rewarding when you get a hit. just putting cross hair on target and round hitting exactly there instantly every time is boring

They probably wont, but I sure do hope they will update the physics in the game.. A person wont be sent flying backwards when hit by a bullet xD not even if its in the head. Headshot = drop dead like a sack of potatoes. Torso hit = potato sack or wind blow out of him if kevlar. However thats just not as amusing : P

@rookie2202 it actualy is to see someone fall like that very realisticly with a shot to the head its fucking sweet but to the torso the bullets of sniper rifle's have a heavy kick so it does sorta knock you on your ass backwards if shot from the front

wow they need to study snipers more. the spotter is suppose to have an A.R. not another sniper. also the spotter moves ahead first. also if you check out the website they only have four snipers listed which really sucks. also you can't zoom in that fast with a scope. usually scopes only have a set high power zoom. the bullets don't seem that realistic as in speed/

@Dawn3R Starting bullet speed is 800 m/s. If you know physics you can count up that for 150 meters bullet falls 1.548 cm. For same rifle and distance is bullet time 0.176 sec. So this game (for this distance) is realistic.

Finally, a true and worthy successor to the game, "Sniper Elite", has been made!!! Thank God, for its about freaking time!! This game will put all REAL snipers and campers out there to the test!! The game looks absolutely amazing and the bullet cam has returned in all its glory!! The graphics improved so much over the graphics in "Sniper Elite", (which were the only real flaw in that game).
