TxTFamGuy1 - you sent me in the right direction. googleing " professor Geoff Palmer's The forgotten Dissora" explains my mystery. Not the kind of history I was hopeing to have associated with my home town but history none the less. Thank You zephyr9ne
Tommy McCook is a True Legend R.I.P., A friend of mine told me that when he was a kid he always thought Saxophones were just for band Idiots until he began listening to reggae. Now this guy plays most of Burning spear songs, Brass sections on both Alto & Tenor really good.
I have on Duke Reid 7".......tuff version to Hopeton Lewis's "Boom Shak-A-Lacka" 1970
