See where Reggie just saw fit to criticize the dead Billy Martin.
Other than baseball the bitch has never done nothing. Hope when he gets to hell Billy kicks his rotting ass. Jackson turned out to be just another "it's because I'm black" whining punk.
Doug Rader (A 70s contemporary of Jackson's with Houston) had beautiful mechanics at the plate. The Astros featured Rader on the cover of an early 70s program with a picture-perfect swing. Shame that Rader just couldn't hit RHP!
I'm not trying to make any excuses for reggie, we all know he has tons of strike out but I dont remember seeing to many guys in his era that wore glasses.
gfscarface13 comment was directed at me with respect to the "MILF" remark. I simply verified what my comment "actually" read and I guess this person is not use to be corrected. I won't trade low life scum of the earth remarks but next time comprehend the comments you read before you poorly attempt to be a baseball professor and then attack some one with gutter language because your shit got shoved right back down your rotten throat. Done - be gone...
My new book on Reggie's great 1978 Yankees team, The Greatest Comeback Ever, is the only book ever written by a fan, live-time on a great sports season. It's available at Amazon.
Maybe true. However he was amongst the greatest post-season player performers of all time. He hit .357 in 5 World Series with10 HR's and 24 RBI in only 98 AB's. Look at the Yanks - They went from 1962-1976 without winning a title before signing Mr. Oct. Reggie wins 2 titles from 77-81 in 5 yrs. They went from 82-95 without going to a World Series after he left/ Enough said...
...And he won in all 5 of those World Series. The best stat of them all, and in the same decade. Only a few Boston Celtics and previous Yankees can make that statement. Reggie was definitely among the greatest of all time.
@ gfscarface13 I did mention "and in the same decade." I was talking about his titles during the 1970's. 3 in Oakland and 2 in New York but thank you for edification of my commentary. 1981 was a strike shortened season and to tell the truth, I forgot Reggie during that season. It was all about Dave Winfield at that time.
@gfscarface13 For a 26 year old you act like a big expert on everything in the world. But of course any 20-25 year can post comments on the internet with their PC in the safety of their own home without ever getting their face smashed in by people they have nevert even personally met who have children that are older than them.
@jstarks123 gfscarface is a LA Dodgers fan and is 26 years old.
He has no business posting comments about being an expert on anything about the NY Yankees let alone their history. He is a poser trollface punkshit just looking to deliberately start shit with people.
I've heard it said that Reggie was a severe overstrider when he swung the bat. I wonder what that has to do with 'rotational mechanics', since it seems like he had good weight transfer, but also seemed to swing for the fences quite a bit too. Nice video by Parkertraing though.
I would say that as an Angel, about 75% of his homers went from center to left. He rarely pulled the ball. You can really see him inside out that last pitch. By the way, yo yo yo danmaster90 is an idiot. I'm so tired of cliche hip-hop retards.
GREAT INFO!!! Reggie and Tiger Woods almost have the same exact mechanics involved while hitting the ball for power!!!GREAT JOB by pointing out weight transfer to front leg!!! With just those mechanic one could train themselves and get very far!! Thanks for posting!!! ONE LOVE!!!!

@jstarks123 True, Winfield Choked in the 81 series. Just correcting the guy below about Reggie Jackson's World Series record.
gfscarface13 11 months ago
@gfscarface13 Jackson was the best ever signing by Steinbrenner. Winfield was the worst ever signing by Steinbrenner.
