God didn't fail in anything my friend. In fact what would be a failure is if we look at suffering and not be moved with compassion for the person in need. Without question God is more than able to heal all afflictions but he also left the believers to continue to good works he began through the power of the Holy Spirit of course. So because we call ourselves Christians we follow Christ if we are not gifted in healing the next best thing is charity.
Haven’t you read “What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.” (James 2:14-17) So don't get it twisted God doesn't fail we just fail to act.
