Blend Tech, however, is a barbershop quartet, been to the college contest at international multiple times. (BTW, I'm not directing this at you specifically, I've just gotten this comment a lot.)

@MrSean24601 Haha, no i'm not going to take offense. Ideally, Auto-tune is supposed to be sprinkled on to clean up the recording without being noticeable. For this one i very deliberately dumped a whole bucket of auto-tune on it specifically to make fun of the original. :)

@michaeljharary there's editing on everything :) The bass is actually singing that low, i did a lot with melodyne and EQ to make it sound like that though. They're new CD will be out in a month or two, then you can hear him without buckets of auto-tune

Just so people aren't confused: Although Blend Tech is a barbershop quartet, this song is not barbershop (nor were they trying to make it barbershop). Hence, the contemporary acappella arrangement and use of autotune.

For examples of actual barbershop, I'd point you at Blend Tech's web site, the Barbershop Harmony Society's web site, and the movie American Harmony.
