@CWK922 I've been playing slow pitch softball for years, and I've never seen a bat hit anyone in a face. Never seen a foul ball that didn't pop up and over the catcher. It's slow pitch. You don't have the same trajectory. Catcher's where you put your weakest player. Any play at the plate you can have the pitcher cover.
They are playing slo-pitch, dumbass. To avoid a physical play at the plate, runners just aim for the first base line behind home plate. Touching home plate is an out.
