To give people some history, the Giants were unbeaten coming into the game 10-0. The next week the Giants had a MNF game against the 2-time Super Bowl champion 49ers who were also unbeaten. Giants and 49ers both loss that day. 49ers beat Giants the next week. Two weeks later the Giants loss again to the Bills. The Giants would later beat the 49ers in NFC Championship game on last second field goal and the Bills in the Super Bowl when Scott Norward missed the field goal at the end for the Bills.
