Rock Band and Guitar Hero are a great way to learn to drum. I learned that way it was a big change to play on real drums. I use guitar hero to play on a real set. I've only had a real set for four months I had guitar hero for a year prior. Now I can play several songs almost perfectly and make them sound good like Aint Talking Bout Love By Van Halen Im working on really hard songs like Tom Sawyer and Hot For Teacher.

Look I am pretty damn sure that Rock Band is just for the fun of it. You all should know that if they appied this on a real drumset, they'd fail just as miserably as a real drummer playing the same thing on a Rock Band kit.

But the fact there are actual tournaments, is beyond me

Now Rock Band would be truly interesting if they ever found a way to incorporate real drums to the game and have more than 4 pads to hit and a crappy pedal and let the game be more lenient on freelfow players.
