  • @Musikeeter: this version came from an album called The Smooth Country Sound of Rex Allen." The album also contained nice versions of songs like "Tiny Bubbles," "Skip A Rope" and "My Own Peculiar Way."

  • such a good and sad song, hell yeah AZ for life !!!

  • So good!

  • I just bought this album today from Goodwill for 49 cents ! ! This cut is one of my favorites by my namesake...rex allen B. in north carolina.

  • What's the album title and label?

  • HillBillyHit, sorry for the delay... the album is "THE SMOOTH COUNTRY SOUND OF REX ALLEN" on DECCA DL75011.

  • Decca Records put out the LP in 1965. The LP is titled The Smooth Country Sound of Rex Allen. There is an endorsement on the back cover from Gene Autry. You can actually find the record on ebay. I just saw it tonight.

  • This a rare gem! I haven't got this in my record collection ... which album or single?

  • I'm sorry, but I don't know where this is from originally, I received this just in private tape years ago from my collector friend.

  • What a REX ALLEN fan you seem to be! Just keep on the good work!
