@Jader7777 IGN does. Punch in Metroid Prime US commercial, and you should see an IGN related link that will take you to the page. As far as I'm seeing, you're SUPPOSED to be an "Insider" (subscriber) but it opened right up for me. I'm going to add it to my channel here in a few minutes so I can crop out the IGN logo. I mastered all the side scroller versions of Metroid that ever came out, but when I picked up the controller to play Prime, I never got the hang of it. =( I guess first person isn't my thing. Funny though, cause I did manage to beat Metroid Prime Hunters out of all the first person view versions. =\

I was the same way back in the day, I bought the game and did not play it past 3 hours. I did buy the wii trilogy version and it was the best game purchase ever, the wii controls make me glad its my first time playing. I highly recommend doing so. Fantastic production.

Dude, back around this time Nintendo's advertising efforts mere barely percievable, this commercial being one of the rare exceptions. I'm convinced that in those days Nintendo didn't think they could compete with the likes of Sony and Microsoft in the Advertising arena, and subsequently made no effort to. Nintendo's currently airing commercials may be silly and annoying, but if Microsoft proved anything during the last generation: quanitity over quality gets the results. It's good 2 play 2getha.

if you want a good metroid movie setting then you can either take Fusion or Prime 3 (but make it grittier)

or hell even the sequal to MP3:C which involves Samus finaly getting rid of Dark Samus (possibly after the events of Fusion)

The 100% ending shows the Delano 7, which is Sylux(From MP:Hunters), it never shows Dark Samus. Retro stated that MP3 was the last Prime game they would make, and for that effect, all Phazon is destroyed in the end of the game. No Phazon, no Dark Samus.
