@Arawn4 because an inverted pentacle is what people often confuse with the symbol for Wicca, making them believe it's a devil sign. But to wiccans, there is no devil, hence my frustration.
@Scar2401 But to Pagans and wiccans the inverted pentacle represent High magick, or represents the Horned God. I have an inverted Pentacle necklace that i hardly ever take off. I'm Not a satanist, i'm Pagan :)
@Arawn4 But I thought that originally, the REGULAR pentacle represented the four elements and Spirit, with the circle binding them. When Right-Side-Up, it represents creation, life, and love. I assumed that Satanists inverted this symbol of utter goodness to represent destruction, death, and hate. Pentacles? You were right about those... but inverted pentacles? No... those are still bad.
@bmanyugioh7 well i've always been told and taught that the inverted Pentacle represents the horned god. In Wicca, the inverted pentacle represents the second degree of initiation in the Gardnerian tradition. It symbolises male energies and the god. But to satanists and christians, the inverted pentagram is seen as a symbol of darkness etc, but to pagans, it means something completely different.
@Arawn4 Forgive my rudeness. All of my current information comes from a book by Thea Sabin. I don't know much about Gardnerian tradition, and I'm sorry if I came off as argumentative. I truly did wish to know why you posted these things. Thank you for further clarifying your position.
@Arawn4 Also (Forgive me for carrying this on, I know I do seem like I'm arguing), I couldn't help but notice that the pentagrams in the Pentagram section of your first BOS video all seem to be right side up.
@bmanyugioh7 i'd prefer the look of the up right pentagram, but i have a pendant with the inverted pentagram on it, that i always wear. i do have inverted pentagram pages in my bos as well :)
