  • Loved this ad when I was a kid, it was always good for a laugh :)

  • I totally didn't see that ending coming. That was hillarious!

  • I first saw this when I went to watch Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves in the cinema, the whole place eurpted in laughter.

  • I so remember this advert back in the day, loved it <3

  • i knew i didnt imagine it !

  • Like something the Python team could've thought up., lol.....was a funny advert for sure.

  • I fist saw this during the ads at the start of Robin Hood Prince of Theives. Love it!

  • I went on holiday in Centre Parcs in Sherwood forest just recently but I did not see Robin Hood though.

  • I just thought of something:

Robin Hood (sees the weetabix): weetabix? oh er...retreat everyone back to the wood!

Maid Marion: (calls after him) But...you're supposed to help me, oh you just can't get the outlaws these days, where else am I going to find an outlaw on a Friday?

  • weetabix always has the best adverts

  • Robin's face at 0.27 is absoloutely classic! HAHA!

  • my mums in the weetabix advert from the 70's :')

  • Has rightly earned his nickname "Robin Hood"?

  • My favourite advert when I was a child! Had such a catchy tune!

  • I remember this :) Brings back memories

  • Michael Elphick :)

  • Great!! It sounds like Michael 's voice at the end. Ken Boon fame...

  • I used to love this advert. The castle they used, Bodiam Castle is only five miles from my house.

  • Does anyone remember the one with Ned Kelly?

"Nobody come any closer, or I'll eat the Weetabix!"

"Get back, men. He's not bluffing."

Tries to eat Weetabix but the spoon won't fit through his mask.

    Always found that funny lol.

  • absolute classic

  • this is the best advert ever :D

  • Was that Bob Hoskins voice saying 'Have You Had Your Weetabix'?

  • It's okay Robin, she was a ugly looking broad anyway.

  • Genius, fucking genius.

  • OML LOVED this as a kid lol!I still have two weetabix for breakfast everyday, shows you the power of a great ad!

  • haha brill memories thx for uploading

  • Robin Hood, Robin Hood spies the Weetabix

Robin Hood, Robin Hood could be in the shit

  • @VANHELSING433

I'd have thought, "...now he's shitting bricks." would be punchier!

  • @ImHereToBaitYou ..And also get it banned from every TV break pre watershed, not very conducive to sales..

  • Have you had your fucking weetabix?

  • The Sheriff of Nottingham FTW

  • wth

  • nice song

  • One of my favourite adverts of all time.

  • this advert is from 1993! love the advert but dont like weetabix :p

  • you should watch the hilarious Monty Python version of Robin Hood too sometime...it had me laughing my guts and ass out! lol

  • Great song.

  • I loled. . . thought about it for a minute. . . then loled again. XD

  • lololololololololololololololololol!!

  • "Does he retreat back to Sherwood?...

COURSE HE SHOULD! COURSE HE SHOULD!"

    Weetabix adverts are amazing.

  • Such a funny advert.

  • damn we had 2 watch this in year 7 last year in history

  • You had to watch a weetabix advert in history? What gain would you get from a 40 second advert? lol

  • well we were learning about robin hood in history and because it was towards the end of the year, our teacher decided to treat us with this advert plus a few other parodies of robin hood oh and we watched the first few minutes of the Disney film "robin hood".

  • @NuclearBoyHasLanded Did you get to see Robin Hood Men In Tights? Imo thats the best of the parodies :D

  • Ah that takes me back!!! Don't make adverts half as good as that anymore!

  • I remember this from my childhood, Bodiam Castle East Sussex, still as beautiful as ever!!

  • Comment removed

  • Never saw that ad before but love the cereal

  • I remember being about 10 and singing this to my younger brother who was ill at the time. He threw up laughing and narrowly missed me.

  • Thanx 2 this upload this is now apart of my Classic Adverts collection. Thanx :)

  • Brilliant ad but I think the Battle of Naseby one was the best

  • LOL what the hell is up with the guy speaking at the end!!! He fucking growls.

  • lolXD yh

  • HAVE YOU HAD YOUR WEETABIX?

  • NO!

  • It's the way his smile falls off his face at 0.24 lol lol lol. I remembered the words even now too lol. Good times

  • *o*

  • I remembered the words to this one lol! Today's ads are pretty crap compared to the jingles of the 80s and 90s!

  • Same here! I didn't remember the ad, but I found myself able to sing along to the whole thing. Weird..

  • Yep, adverts used to be funny and memorable. Now they are all about even cheaper car insurance and bloody irritating into the bargain.

  • Haha, it's true. The only good car insurance advert was the Michael Winner one. In fact, I'm gonna search for that one right now.

  • 80s 90s hay day of ads same all we get these days is ads on how girls should become slags with crappy 3rd rate celebrities trying to sell a brand shameful

  • I loved this ad. I agree that some of the best ads were made in the 80's and 90's. A friend of mine, Lindsay Benson, told me he sang this song for the ad and that it was a real laugh because they messed with the words a lot. Obviously, only the cleaned up version was used.

  • lol robin aint no hero in this advert is he the puff lol we had the best adverts best cartoons best everything in the 80s and 90s!

  • LOVE this,n i rememer it so well. ho the meemorys !

  • i prefer this to the shitty perfect family ad they;re fucking our bollocks over

  • GOLD! :) I remember singing this in the playground at school...*sigh* Nostalgia...

  • yeah the ad's in the 90's where really good, now there way to P'C

  • I love the Weetabix adverts of the 90's.

The idea that people who don't eat Weetabix have no hopes of winning was something I found funny.

  • Hi there

OH MY GOD!!! I sooooooo missed that advert! Just the best! (favs) Really miss the old TV ads

    Euan

  • class...just pure and utter class! always been my fave advert!!

  • this one is awsome, i also like the trojan horse & the driving insructor ads

  • love it - remembered this from when I was a kid this morning. Most stuff you see get ruined from your childhood memory if you see them again later in life. This just made me smile. Classic

  • Does anyone have the Ned Kelly one?

  • lol, my friend who lives in new york eats weetabix. they sell this in america too?

  • What The F**k Are You Guys On About?....

I Remeber it when i was in school yes...

But HELL... It Was A Damned advert... Funny as hell though, the shit they show now is boring.

  • This song stirs up VERY old memories that had gone into a very long hibernation lol I don't understand though why did he flee? :S

  • he flees becouse NO ONE can defeat someone who has eaten wheetabix

  • @Rudas2007 Personaaly, I'd counter with Shreddies and a glass of squeezed OJ. That should swing things in my favour..

  • He flees because he realises that he forgot to eat his Weetabix that morning

  • lol thankyou for telling me :)

  • There was another ad just like this with Sampson + Delila(spelling?) in it... I've never seen it since they showed it. T_T

  • its on here just type in samson & delila wetabix ad

  • I remember this advert, at the time everyone was singing this at school.

  • we need more adverts like this. recent ones are too bloody pretentious.

  • Theres something Monty Pythonisque about this..

  • .LOL. It's true. xD

  • The Sheriff of Nottingham looks like the Master on Dr Who.

  • fantastic ad really sends up our legend

  • I love the look the bad guy gives...that little smirk

  • thats the sherriff of nottingham

  • Great stuff. I heard a story on the radio about a bride who asked for "The Robin Hood Song" to be played as she walked down the isle during her wedding and the organ player got confused and played this one when the bride obviously meant the Bryan Adams song. HAHAHAHAHA That really made me laugh.

  • LOL amazing!!

  • Thats not the only time it's happened. Michael Kamen, the late composer who co-wrote the Bryan Adams song, was once told that it happened at a wedding reception where the bride and groom were about to take their first dance as a married couple, with a proper orchestra.

  • Brilliant. They should just play adverts like this and the old toys r us one constantly. Better than most of the actual tv nowadays, never mind the adverts!

  • Anyone got the Samson/Delilha one?

  • It's on my other channel: adslover.

  • Sorry, that's ukadslover

  • I bloody love this advert. Pretty high budget too.

  • I never saw this one... Maybe I wasn't born. I remember the 'I will survive' one though, that was years later.

  • I haven't heard this advert in years and I bloody love it.

  • Legendary

  • Who could forget this ad... Along with the Samson one.

  • This is probably the funniest, if not best advert ever.

  • I remember this one! I think it's from around 1991.

  • i sang this song this morning word for word correct damn wat a memory and wat an ad brilliant thanx 4 upload
