I dont care what people say about the goo goo dolls, i love them. This song reminds me of a cinderella story, yeah, but it also reminds me of a time when everything was simpler, when all you wanted was to be liked. Everyone makes mistakes, some things go wrong and other things go right. And somethings are harder to patch up then other things but eventually things WILL go right. This song spoke to me that no matter how bad things may seem you'l be ok

@missdollymollyxx Well, what I interpret from it, is that from the speaker's point of view, he walked away from someone he cared about, out of fear of becoming too attatched to them, and losing out on his youth. Then years later, he comes back and appologizes, realizing none of the things he was able to experience in not being so attatched to that person, were ever as enjoyable to him, as the person he walked away from, and he can't believe they accepted said apology.
