But compare Brazil midfield (Gilberto,Kleberson and sometimes Juninho) vs Spains(Busquets,Alsonso,Iniesta,Xavi and players like Fabregas and Silva on the bench)Sorry no contest there.
So Brazils 2 midfielders would get outnumbered and outpassed by Spains four midfielders and thus Brazils attackers wouldnt get much of the ball.

Mate Spains midfield is all they had to be honest, their defence isn't that amazing and would be absolutey torn apart by the front 3. The midfield I can guarantee would hold their own with Cafu and R.Carlos coming forward. It would be a good game, but that Brazilian team was just so good. Pele was a king back in his day but u cant say he cant play in today's times because of course he can't since the training has gotten harder, the football has become faster and more competitive and modern. but pele had not many to compete against. Ronaldo had Figo Zidane Baggio etc. to compete with and still was a phenomenon. Many recent great players idolize him such as zidane and ibrahimovich. Hes a beast.

It is ridiculous to compare this very average Spanish Team (lost to Switzerland) needed help to beat Paragauy, needed OT to beat Holland ( Robben should have put the game way in regulation).
Spain had a good team with good ball control. That´s about it. But it did not have that killing instinct of the great champions like the Brazilian side of 1970.
The difference is huge.

But again, Ronaldo was 10x better than any1 else. Im one of his biggest fans and ive seen him play live when he was at Inter. RonaldoApprentice its cool..Puskas was never that fast but he had the technique to still dribble 1 or 2 players in the box and he had the most lethal shot i have ever seen apart from Pele..For me his record is the best ever considering he played in Europe his entire career..DiStefano is a fantastic player, but IMO he was more a creator while Puskas was the finisher and what a finisher he was..I like him alot but i wouldnt put him over Cruff, Puskas, R9, Garrincha, Maradona...:)

Puskas is awesome all the way but not really the dribbling- player. He's more of a goal machine in front of the goal like Nistelrooy and Crespo. Sure he's got the tech well and dribbling accuracy but just not the speed. I'd rate Ronaldo above him really. Di Stefano is ten times better than Cruff and Puskas IMO too. Dat's your opinion though =)
