  • its really a great shame--in the 1968 AFL championship Lamonica threw a pass that turned out to be a lateral late in the game that cost the Raiders the game and a trip to SB 3--then in the AFL title game in 1969 Lamonica jammed his hand against Aaron Brown's helmet and couldn't throw properly-plus a pass that should have been ruled out of bounds from Dawson to Taylor cost the Raiders a trip to SB 4. I'm sure the Raiders would have beaten both the Colts and the Vikings too.

  • I want to thank you so much for posting this, having been a Raider fan for so long it is great to see games that you vaguely remember

  • Garland Boyette, #52 of the Oilers, the 'first' black middle linebacker in Pro Football history, 'not' Willie Lanier.

  • Coaches don't allow their QB's to improvise at 3:40.

  • One of these days the Titans will beat the Raiders in a playoff game.

  • The AF of L! I'm old and remember...

  • Hewritt Dixon, #35, from Florida A&M University. RIP, Mr Dixon.

  • This was the last game in which AFL officials wore the red-striped shirts. They adopted the standard NFL issue for 1968 in anticipation of the merger.

  • Daryle Lamonica is awesome. I love his commentary in this highlight video.
