  • Cheers imbo!

  • The great Eric Rogers

  • Great films, and great theme tune, the likes we will never have again.

  • Watch the trailer to Carry on Abroad, And its Shepperton High Street, Where the Travel agentsare they book the Holidays from and where the coach leaves from, so I think the Landlors Right.. Go have a Pint and have a right Carry on..

Well theres a claim to fame for you haha..

  • If you want to go to the Pub they used in the Carry on Abroad film at the beginning, Its Next to Station in Shepperton, Its still the same all these years later they hav'nt done anything to it, its down the side road next to the station, at the end of the lane there, i was an Estate agent in Shepperton and they all used to drink in there when filming, so they used it in that film( well thats what what i was told by the landlord there) and it does look just like the one in the film!

  • The beuty of these films is that you can watch them all the time the slapstick & double entedre`s means nothing today is better.

  • lovin it :OP

  • how could anyone out there put a dislike on this video...???

  • Comment removed

  • @j4cc4000 me too! my dad got them for me when i was 12 lol watch them all every year

  • Kitsch and cool ..but what about the incidental music that was used in most of the films?

  • shame nearly all dead now and they nwere the best

  • carry on Abroad is realy fantastic!

  • lmao

  • Forgot how groovy this stuff was! Cheers Pixie.

  • Gosh, thanks very much for posting this....just my kind of thing, great tunes+I wish I had the posters

  • I like the prominent bassline in the Carry on at Your Convenience music.

  • That music sounds hard to play!

  • An excellent video. I grew up with the Carry On Films and love them. I love the posters which featured in your video, some of which I'd never seen before. Thank you. :)

  • Ive grown up with them too, i'm only 16, but these films are part of essential British comedy along with the Will Hay and Norman Wisdom films. I grew up watching them with my grandad, and I still do :)

  • same but with my dad lol british comedy cant beat it

  • Some of the early (Anglo Amalgamated) Carry Ons were very good, Screaming/Cleo/Cowboy, and so were the (Rank) Carry Ons. Camping/Khyber/ were my favorites. Have them all on DVD. When I feel down, all I have to do is watch a Carry On. It's so sad that most of the cast are no longer with us. I had a soft spot for the lovely Joan Sims, (My but you've got a big one) I was lucky to meet her in person, she was so nice. Long live the Carry Ons.

  • i like carry on camping

  • Love the Carry On music.... such a warm British feeling to it..... might even stick it on to my Ipod !! :o)

  • Gerald Thomas, a little known and brilliant composer, the sound of Carry on Films

  • It was actually Eric Rogers

  • yes, you're right, it was, not sure if he's still alive, dont really hear much about him but his arrangments were fantastic

  • this is great thanks for hard work!

  • No problem, just a 15 year old fan that thinks the spirit of the Carry On films should live on forever

  • Testcard-tastic!

  • Excellent. The Carry on films were the greatest if only Sidney James, Bernard Bresslaw, Charles Hawtrey, Kenneth Williams plus the rest of the carry on gang were still with us they were so funny.

The so called comedians of today are not in the same league.

  • Totally agree, can't beat the old ones, i'm only 15, but I think the Carry On comedies are some of the best we have ever released in the UK

  • does anyone know what is the name of the baroque tunes that were played in some of the carry on films. Don't lose your head had the tune in it, when jim dale and sid james were dancing.

    can anyone help

  • Sid-sational! Carry On Camping has the best music.

  • sorry pressed poor comment by mistake meant good comment but i agree

  • Good work! I cannot help but smile whenever I hear a piece of music from the Carry Ons.

  • Fantastic music and so evocative of the age. The magic for me in the films is the "on location" filming as it also captures real life in the 60's and 70's. My favourite is Carry on at your Convenience and the coach trip to Brighton. I love the quietness of the roads, the cars, the street furniture, buildings, clothing, signage etc etc. Some of the "incidental" music in carry On films also appears in the Catweazle series, but I have no idea what its called!

  • I agree, can't beat old British comedy, and i'm only a 15 year old fan

  • The music for Carry On Doctor is the most famous carry on track and might use it in the new Carry On film (Carry On London)!!!!!

  • this brings back memories

  • I love the Carry On films - and they have such catchy music.

    Thanks for uploading this!

    Emma-Jayne xXx
