@nm5252 they actually dont. there poop does just like every ANIMAL IN THE WORLD!! if you give them a bath every week u have a 5% chance of getting salmonella. if you bathe your reptile 2 a week you have a 1% chance. Scientifically speaking you have a greater chance of getting salmonella from your kitchen then you are a reptile. unless its a water turtles. those guys swim in their poop so those I don't trust.....

if you have a bearded dragon you should always feed it fruits and greens they are alote nicer when you do. if you feed them meat then they become a carnavor and they are not as nice im not saying you cant feed it meat i just dont recomend it

@1slaiman1 I've had Rocko almost 9 years and never been bit once. They can be aggressive if you dont consistently pick them up when they're young. They have to get use to being held, :-)

@NikNamikaze369 well they typically eat things that move.. its just the way they are. my is super picky and rarely eats veggies too, especially greens. Try wiggling a green pea/snow peas tricking your beardie thinking its a worm, lol it works sometimes for me. Mine only likes yellow squash, they like red and yellow colors. they wont really drink water so bath/soak them or mist them often, thats how they mainly stay hydrated. Hope i helped, let me know how things work out! I really want to know!

hey, i just got my own beardie and hes about the size of yours. But when i try to pick him up he opens his mouth and i think hes gonna bite me. so 2 questions, do bites hurt and how would i train her to let me pick her up.

@billybober05 he probably is, if your is as big as mine in this vid and he seems like he wants to bite you, he probably will. the reason is cause the beardie is older, he probably didnt get use to people holding/touching him growing up so he thinks your trying to hurt him and might bite u as self defense. yeah bites im sure do hurt but try just petting the tail and slowly work your way up towards the head and eventually pick him up, it'll probably take some time for your beardie to get use to it
