Haha, Scissorman just totally clowned the guard. What makes him so unique is the constant pursuit, it loses some fun over time but the first impression gets you paranoid. Plus he clowns you again with the fax machine later, that was a classic.

Well, it was more that Nintendo wasn't willing to publish the first game, seeing as it had a minor killing a bunch of other minors. And when Clock Tower came out (in about 1995), Nintendo of America was trying to stay pretty family-friendly.

Though it still perplexes me why they didn't release it when the game was remade for the PSX and PC. It would have been a good tie-in with this game. At least give more reason why the ending is so significant. ._. (not mentioning spoilers)

You know.....this game scared the living crap of me as a kid. In elementary school I once had a nightmare that a kid was killed in my school restroom. The class was cancelled and all of the parents came and picked up their kids, except mine. by the time they let me go home it was almost sundown. I was walking home by myself and the Scissorman was waiting for me under a parked car on the side of a street! Yeah i played many scary games in my lifetime, but none of them compare to clock tower!

I remember going to the "pamphlet" section in the game and during the "story", they played this really scary music that always gave me the creeps.
