This really isn't a "true low" This is kind of a low mid really. Gilbert Arenas's Gil Zero is insanely low. I'd never feel comfortable in those. His soccer comparison is a fallacy though. Basketball players do way more jumping. .and get higher off the ground. That's when most ankle injuries happen. There are more factors than hi vs. lo. The T-Mac Pillrahna's are kinda low but they compensate by making the outstep come out really far, making rolling your ankle to the outside really difficult
