sarah, i've found that my range of motion is limited on the single leg squats when i have my raised leg in front of me. i can go deeper when i have my knee bent/hanging - is that okay? thanks so much! your new site looks awesome. i love your videos :)

You know your doing the first one wrong.....when bending your knees your not supposed to not let you knee go past your toes.....its called knee shearing....

I've been to lots of sports and I can personally say what you're doing is one of the exercises my coaches used to drill into our team to develop some serious strength. When I do the donkey kicks..I feel my hamstrings sting when I bring them down at the end of the rep, and not a good sting. Like the muscle is sliding over another muscle. Is there anyway to prevent this? Sometimes I get that same thing in my hip when I do hip exercises. I also have wide hips.

@LiaBSakura Hey! I'm 5'4.5 and I weigh between 130-135 - I've got a lot of muscle though, for me to be 125, I have an unhealthy amount of body fat (being too low) and it's very hard to stay there. I get very cranky. I just have a lot of muscle... You are not too heavy since I weigh 10 lbs more than you!

FYI: When I did P90X he did the donkey kick while standing up and it was a great burn also. Thank you for reminding me about the 1 leg squat... I'm going to do that while watching General Hospital tonight :-))
